question lang po re: change of ownership. Kelangan ba orig yung CR/OR? pwede bang xerox copy lang yung ipakita? nawala ko kasi yung orig e. Thanks.

September 1st, 2003 08:40 PM #54kasi yung original paper nun tinakbo taga-lto(daw) kasi may nag-alok sa kanya maglakad ng papeles(change of ownership as well as rehistro) kaso after makuha yung pera hindi na nagpakita natira na lang sa kanya for tracibility yung plate no. OR/CR pati deed of sale wala na.... pwede ba i-register to????thanks!!!!

im getting my 'own car' next week.... a second hand civic...
is it possible to get a clearance from TMG (just for security purposes) and not to change the ownership to LTO yet?
it wont be a problem if i drive a car not under my name, right?
does the TMG clearance expires?
pls help! ty....

yes no prob. just remember that the clearance is only valid for two weeks so you may need to get another clearance by the time you will be changing the ownership papers of the car.

sir, yung TMG clearance is good for 7 working days only. upon the date of issue/release.
yung deed of sale is good for one month (according to LTO Manila South Dist Office, where i had my transfer of ownership recently) - kundi may penalty na P150.00

yup. 7 days nga pala. pero i doubt dun sa deed of sale. legal document pa rin yan eh, so alang validity.
