With regards on using the filters on your amp or HU. You neither use one of them since your speakers comes with passive filters already. Just turn off the HPF on the HU and set the the filters of the amp to off or all pass. If the amplifier does not come with the option of setting the filters to off or all pass, leave the settings to HPF.
I'm not too sure about it being more heat resistant. After all, it's not as if you're reflecting the actual rays of the sun when it's inside the door pane and I believe the peeps at DIYMA looks for it more like a marketing gimmick more than anything else.

However, it does look more clean and if aesthetics is the basis of the purchase I think it warrants the added cost.

Also, acoustipad is an asphalt-based deadener. Know it's pros- and cons-.

Yes, to be honest I too feel the same way.

my bad, ito nga ibig ko sabihin.
mahina na amp ng HU tapos high volume level.

Idol, balita ko magpapalit ka ng HU ah? Congrats in advance hehe. Kakapalit ko din ng HU after 1 million years. Malaki nga difference if Highlevel input vs RCA out. Bypassing the internal amp of the HU, made the background black-er. Plus mas malinis yung LF ngayon. Sulit ang upgrade! Here are some pics para pangkulam.

Palit wiring from HU to Processor kasi RCA out na.

    Finished product.

Thanks po sa mga replies re: Sound Deadening materials.

Ask ko lang din po kung ano recommended 4 channel amp na nasa 10k to 15k range for my Focal PS165F separates and pioneer rear coaxials? My HU is Pioneer 2850BT, Sound Magus C160 AMP and fully deadened doors.

So far eto mga nakita ko:

    JL JX360/4

Rockford Fosgate P600X4 (will get this from Amazon)

Digital Design C4( A friend of mine is offering his at 8k)

Precision Power P900.4 (will get this from Amazon)

Digital Design C5B (Sa website ng DDaudio MK2 sa Frisco yung dealer nila which is near our place kaso di ko na ma contact phone number nila)

Also saw a video on youtube about sa Network Mode feature ng Pioneer 2850BT wherein yung 4 channel amp is dedicated na sa Front Tweeters and Front Woofer.

If naka network mode pwede ko hinaan and/or taasan yung volume ng woofers.

It is still advisable if you can purchase your audio gears from a shop that can do the install as well. This is for after sales support. Anyway, for your budget, you might want to consider the Audio System MX-line 4.75 to be paired with your focal seps. It costs less than 15k the last I saw it online.

If I where on your shoes, susubukan ko muna yun nabanggit mo na NETWORK mode sa HU with the amplifier that you have. If your wondering how you will wire the speakers to your amplifier. Eto po ang gagawin nila. Assuming that the Front RCA of the HU was used for the signal for your seps and the rear RCA of the HU was for the coaxial. Since naka kabit na ang amplifier all you have to do is remove the passive cross over that came with your seps. The wire for the tweeters will go to channels 1&2 of the amp and the wire for the midbass will go the channels 3&4 on the amp. Bale tatangalin mo na yun coaxial speakers mo since the 4 channel amp will be dedicated for the tweeters and mid-bass. With a ACTIVE configuration, you can now control the level of the tweeters using the HU. Do not forget to set the HU to network mode and setting the levels of the amp's filters to all pass or off before doing your wiring

Wiring your speakers active needs good understanding po. Making all the right wiring is one thing while tuning the speakers active is another. Better to have a shop do it for you if this is your first attempt on wiring your speakers active.
    Good Luck!

From your choices, I'll go with Rockford. Pero if you can extend a bit more, maganda yung recommendation ni Sir Mark, yung Audio System. Or if you'd like a true and tested pairing, Audison ;) Sakto na ang SR4 dyan. That is what I am running on my 165FX.

If it's from a reputable owner, I'll get the secondhand 8750BT. Why? More features, less price. And if it's purchased recently, you still have warranty coverage anyway. But if you're in the market for a brand new one, just for the 5850BT. To be honest, most people don't need the 8750BT's features.

Thank you so much sir, i'll go for the 5850bt, (brandnew) instead of the 8750bt (2nd hand) though the previous owner assured me of the condition (used once only for car show) it is still complete with the remote harness and mic, the box is missing which i think would be a problem for the warranty (in case na magkaproblema ang unit)
Thank you so much ulit sir
Patulong pa po pala ng isa pa, any recommendations na seps and coax?
Flux fs20? Dimension? Or any recommended brand? Again, thank you

Doesn't the x5850bt already play FLAC? sa pioneer website it does not say that it does. I have the x8850bt and if we compare it to the x5850bt, advantage lang niya is Carplay and Android Auto ready. It also can Play Divx files. I think wala din SD slot ang 5850? But comparing the 8850bt to the 8750bt, and difference niya lang is the screen, plus pwede na ang two-finger touch for zooming. All the other features are supposedly the same with the x8750bt.

I highly recommend the Flux FS260, I am running those in another car. Probably the best seps for me around that price.

On a personal basis kasi, CarPlay and AndroidAuto are two important features for me but others might not place the same emphasis. The screen is more of a visual addition than anything technically "better" in sound.

AFAIK, as long as the previous owner has the receipt, you're good with the warranty. Whether meron or wala yun box has no standing on your warranty claims.

Same here. It is fun to combine Carplay with an Apple Music Subcription. Just ask Siri to play any song you can think of. Word of caution though sa Carplay, kapag mahilig ka sa chicks, make sure jejemon sila magtext sa iyo para hindi nababasa ni Siri. Lol! Or better yet, don't let your chicks text or call you on the phone connected to Carplay, and just have them contact your secondary phone

I recommend sa C3 Audio sir. Mas mura price nila in my experience.
