    swak yung budget mo for targa seps, fenton FA41000 amp and a targa 12 incher with sealed enclosure. maybe the other peeps can recommend a setup to fit your budget.

    OT: making this thread sticky to benefit the rest of the forumers.

    if you are really on a tight budget is suggest that you get a nice 4 channel amp with front and rear crossovers that is bridgeable (pwede gawing 2 channel lang)

    then what you do is use the stock front speakers of your car, driving it off the front channels of your amp, crossed over at around 80 hz. then you bridge the rear channels and drive a single 10 inch sub using the bridged rear channels, crossed at 80hz and below.

    most of the newer cars have fairly okay speakers, its just that they can't handle the low bass at loud volumes. if you let them play 80 hz and above, they will be fine, kahit laksan mo pa.

    if you say na cost is not a consideration, then you will get a million different answers because cost is the biggest factor to consider when designing a system.

    the advice that i can give is if cost is not really that big a deal, try to go with a 4 way setup. this is usually comprised of a pair of tweets, a pair of midranges, a pair of midbasses, and a single or pair of subwoofers. pwedeng full active or passive and active combined. a 4 way system with a good eq and crossover will be nice

    I just bought a UP6 (di pa installed) I am looking for budget amp to power it and an installer that had previously installed speakers for RAV4 2004 model.

    Step2. is to buy a good front speakers (2way seps preferrably 3way) not lower than 9k- 35k should at least 75-125w power handling depende sa level hanap mo. Recomended for a decent seps around 12k-17k(2way).
    Di ko na talaga kaya ang sounds ng ride ko. After thinking things over, I've decided to do step 2 first. Pero parang nabaliw ako at the thought na my budget for "decent" speakers should be in the 12k-17k range. Ganito ba talaga yun? I was thinking of spending in the 5k range lang, or sayang lang ba yung upgrade na gagawin ko. Or baka di considered na upgrade ang gagawin ko? Hahahaha!

    I have some experience in setting up my own Home Theater System (I ended up with 2 fronts and 1 center speaker with a receiver) kaya I know that one should spend kung gusto mo ng quality. And there are upgrades which aren't really, and will just make you upgrade again, leading to even higher cost.

    Can you recommend:

    (a) car audio shops na mabait ang owner who can take a look at my current set up and tell me what i should do first? i.e. tama ba na step 2, or puwedeng step 3 and 4 na lang, or dapat ba step 1 talaga;

    (b) speakers in the 5k range? kung meron man? Hahahaha.

    (c) websites that i should go to, so i can read up on what's a good set-up.

    I'm after SQ btw.

    Madugo talaga kung after ka ng SQ. IMHO, follow mo yung isang post dito (forgot ko kung anong thread; kay maestro yata) na slowly nya develop yung set-up nya. Quality is expensive.HTH.
