Any idea how i can let an android hu play music on each folder from a usb? Tried the modes with shuffle, repeat folder, etc. as well as turning them off but what just happens is that either the songs from that folder stop playing after all tracks have been played or the 1st song in the same folder plays again after the last song has finished playing. Sometimes, it doesn't even play the songs in order, even if it's not played with shuffle mode on.

This is not the case with other hus like avt, pioneer or other brands. As long as no specific mode is selected, each song from each folder will play according to chronological order and will repeat on the 1st folder again after the last song of the last folder has finished playing.

Forgot what brand and model of the hu but i will check it later. Anybody here who experienced the same problem as mine?

^^If i download an app which is a music player, will it play automatically once it recognizes a usb that has just been inserted? The usb, of course, contains the folders which have the tracks or songs that the hu should play.

Yes you can configure the app to be the default music player and such. Whats your headunit and android OS version?

Just go with the ones that have the best reviews/ most downloads.

    Poweramp is very popular.

Personally i dont use USB stored music. I use Spotify (with cached and downloaded songs sometimes), Waze and Musixmatch combo.

Basically Waze is the first and base layer. Nav and traffic. Then Waze is now integrated with spotify and has a built in overlay for controls and album art and other playlist selections. Thats the 2nd simulatenous layer on the screen. Then last i use Musixmatch for lyrics display (the Floating lyrics overlay). Its transparent and only shows the scrolling lyrics of 99% of the music in spotify.

    Its the best combo.

    Hi,

Almost a month ago na pero di ko parin nachecheck yung hu ng van namin haha. Too busy kasi sa work along with some things kaya di ko maasikaso nang tuluyan.

Finally, i might be able to see it tomorrow kasi i will install a better music player on it but i have another question. If i have installed it na, like the standard player, may am/fm modes ba yung mentioned na apps? Kasi parang di practical kung iexit ko pa yung app in case na i'm switching to am/fm modes.

Tia. Sana maganda nga yung music player na yun.

Wow, at least they do release software upgrades even if they're not based on recent Android versions. Not sure about Growl/Autolink though.

I dont think Growl or Autolink have devs that work on software development like Joying. Growl/Autolink is like Cherry Mobile. Go figure

Sayang, I really like Autolink's UI, though it reminds me of BMW's iDrive minus the control wheel. They're not exactly cheap either kaya sana mag invest din sila sa software development.
