    Thank you for this guide! Dami ko pala mali ginagawa. Noob question: What do you mean by car panels? Like in car paint they paint by panels. Is the roof a single panel and the hood a single panel?Thank you!

    Dusters are only for showroom dust and not for outdoor elements.

    Even if you have a good wax/sealant. Dusters will eventually mar the finish.

    washing the car or qd/rinseless are the way to go.

    Pabili wax

    Anyway, nagamit ko na yung polisher, since silver yung kotse hinde ko masyadong makita yung swirls unless tutukan ng flashlight talaga, pero overall, masayang experience sarap ulit-ulitin sana. Ginawa ko Meguiar's Ultimate Compound dun sa medyo malaking scratch then Ultimate Polish naman sa iba, hood and doors, then sa kabilang side, Klasse AIO ginamit ko, then KSG na sa buong sasakyan. Next weekend nalang ang second coating dahil kapos na sa oras.

    100% agree on this. I have never used Dusters ever in detailing my car and I dont see professionals do it as well in Australia where i worked. Because common sense tells me that if you apply a dry equipment (dusters/cloths/etc) to your car, this will only cause light scratches on the surface (swirl marks). That's why for light to moderate dust on car, I use waterless car cleaning products. These products lubricates the dirt and grime, lifts from the surface and safely removed by the microfibre cloth.

    I just bought washboi waterless car wash and I'm very satisfied of the result.

    * Salanguit,

    BRO ang ginamit ko pangRemove ng WATER SPOTS sa windshield ng car ko ay yun Microtex GLAZ STAINZ OUT then once totally treated/cleaned na yun winshield & other windows.. then applied yun Microtex GLAZ STAIN GUARD. In my car windshield case, since covered naman ang garahe ay very mild lang yun mga stains. For HEAVY STAINS you may also try these AUTO-GLASS CLEANERS:

    > GLASS SCIENCE Glass Cleaner & Scrub 595php * ACE / BLADE / TRUE VALUE

    > WURTH Rapid Windscreen Cleaner 149php * TRUE VALUE

    About RAIN-X, based on my experienced with our car in the past few years, the wiper blades "chatters" as it wipes. Matagal na sa local-market natin ang RAIN-X, I think RAIN-X product will be soon out sa mga auto-stores, reBrand their name & product quality. As per AUTOGEEK & AUTOPIA forums, Glass Science will soon replace it, which was formulated by the gentlemen who made RainX.

    AGREE! DUSTERS can cause scratches/swirl marks. If you use a duster as they were meant to be used, if you have washed your car and put it on a shaded garage and HAVE NOT DRIVEN IT, and the garage dust settles on your car, that is "OKEY to use a duster on it", but once you have driven the car, even if it's only around the block away, you have brake dust (very abrasive) and road dirt also very abrasive, if you use a duster then you will scratch your car over time, now if you have a lighter color car it will take longer for the scratches and swirls to appear, darker cars will shows the swirls much faster.

    Found out that waxing at night is not smart. Daylight showed so many dry residue left unpolished.
