If durability habol mo, maganda 476 talaga. Yun ang tunay na matibay. Tsaka 885 Fleet wax. Kaso wala naman nabibili dito.

Hmmm, 3-4 weeks? Not bad. Will try the 915 pag naubos ko na yung 845 and 476 ko. Thank you sir.

I use cleaner wax depending on accumulated stains and watermarks on the paint (usually 2-3 times a year) or when i don't have time to clay and polish the car.
Best to use it after wash or clay and before applying wax/sealant of your choice. HTH.
    thank you very much, sir.

That would be a better alternative sir. Klasse twins work really well on prepping the paint and protecting it at the same time. After trying it myself and based on the reviews here by fellow tsikoteers. It works like bread and butter. :D

    Hi Masters,

I've been lurking this thread for quite sometime now. I am doing a regular wash-wax (Nano Gloss) then maintain it with QD (nanoslig) to my ride following the steps I learned here ever since. Now that my ride is turning 1 year, I am planning to give it an overall spa treatment kumbaga. While I know that it would be better to bring it to professional detailer by now I will need to deffer it due to budget concern.

I would just like to ask your expert advice regarding my plan of attack sa Spa Treatment ng car ko.

Step 1: Wash - Microtex Shampoo

Step 2: Clay - Mothers clay bar w/ showtime as QD followed by wipe down ng alcohol mixed with water. (mas mahal kasi pag showtime ang pang wipe down)

Step 3: Polish/Compound - Can you suggest a budget friendly polish/compound. Would you also recommend to do compounding then polish or I just need to choose 1? Paint condition is pretty good with minor hairline swirls lang.

Step 4: Sealant - can you suggest a budget friendly sealant na ok.

Step 5: Wax - ok na ba yung Turtlewax Ice spray wax?

Repeat step 5 - every month or as needed

    Repeat Step 1-4 - every 6 months.

    Thanks in advance.

    - never use a compound or abrasive polish. unless its really needed.
    - if you really want to use a sealant(not sure which products are available),I would use a glaze product or polish/glaze product before the sealant.
    - spray waxes are not as durable as paste waxes. but perfectly fine for after-sealant protection. you have to let the sealant cure though.

Will the sealant do the job in removing swirls?

For swirls its usually fixed with a polish. I would ask a detailer to do that for me. Meron paint correction options sa TDS the detail studio. Theyll do a better job with their machines.

Sealants dont have fillers. Some polish products have fillers some dont. Some glaze products also have fillers for swirls.

Question lang ulit. Can I use a scratch remover to remove superficial swirls? I have mantis scratch remover that I used to fix dog scratches on my door. It was effective and easy to use. I am curious if I can use this instead of a compound, then top it of with a sealant/wax afterwards.

    TIA

^ compounds use abrasives to diminish the clear coat para i pantay sa lalim ng scratch therefore permanently fixing the scratch but your clear coat is reduced. Then there are those so called fillers which do the opposite, like the mothers step 2 and some waxes, which fill the scratch para pumantay sa clear coat. The latter is temporary fix, pag na wash out na yung fillers kita ulit scratches but the original kapal ng clear coat mo stays. I just dont know which category mantis belongs kasi im not familiar with it.

Try mo muna yung 3M swirl remover; need patience to do it.

Microtex duster. Just wrap the duster with a newspaper for a day to absorb the paraffin wax.
