Question po, bumili ako ng microtex nanosliq at nanoglos based sa first page ng thread. Tama ba pagkaintindi ko? After washing apply mictotex nanoglos. Tapos pag natuyo na ibuff na siya tapos wait 8 hours bago iapply nanosliq?

Anyone seen this big sealant faceoff before? 57 sealant solutions tested. Each month they'd check which sealants are still protecting the paint. The test was conducted a long time ago though. Many of the products that failed early in the faceoff may have been improved since.

The Biggest Sealant Test ever! - Detailing World

After 4 months, only the following sealant solutions were still protecting the paint:
    1) Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection
    2) Chemical Guys M Seal
    3) Chemical Guys Jetseal 109
    4) Chemical Guys Speed Armor 357
    5) Finish Kare 1000P Hi-Temp Paste Wax
    6) Klasse All-in-one + Klasse Sealant Glaze
    7) Zaino All-in-one
    8) Zaino Z2
    9) Zaino Z5
    10) Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant

Nice link. I really like the autoglym egp. It just sucks with the static. But its fixable with cold spray.

here are certain waxes that I've had firsthand experience and their general impressions
    a) Microtex Nanoglos (~P350 for the big bottle. P40 for the sachet): easy-on, easy off liquid wax. Fills swirls very very competently. Best partnered with Nanosliq. Durability: gone after a single wash
    b) Collinite 476s (~P700 at autobisyo): Paste wax. Hard to remove if multiple panels are allowed to set before buffing. One of the most durable waxes locally available. Able to resist a couple of weeks of rain or several washes before fading away.
    c) Collinite 915: Paste wax. Better shine than 476, but slightly less durable. Still more durable than most Over the counter waxes
    d) Collinite Fleetwax (~P1600): used for boats. even tougher than 476.
    e) Mothers Step 3 (~P695): Liquid wax. Doesn't fill swirls as nicely as Nanoglos, and nowhere near durable as 476 (lost after a single wash or rain)
    f) Turtle Wax: Contains abrasives. Avoid.

    Sorry for being a newbie.
backreading a bit and just crossed over to page 42.
(Did not back read all page, sorry for that)

Just to check with you guys.
After the carwash and drying up of the car.
    What will be the procedure?

    1) apply nanoglos then buff
    2) apply mother's step 2 then buff
    3) apply mother's step 3 then buff
    4) lastly apply collinite then buff
    is my understanding correct?

i have read there is a need for curing time.
In the case above how long is the curing time for each procedure?

above waxes does not have abrasives right?

if it's a non abrasive wax or a carnauba wax that you'll be using then i think you're ok na magpa machine buff every month.

Klasse AIO plus one coat of Klasse HGSG.

    Wash. Clay. Klasse twins.

Hirap magpakintab ng Silver/Gray color. Hehe. Bukas 2nd coating ng KSG.

Medyo satisfied naman ako sa reflections. (Di lang halata sa pics. Pangit ng pagka-upload)

ok yung regimen mo. isingit mo rin after ng AIO yun i-wipe siya ng IPA (isopropyl alcohol, 50:50 mix sa water) para totally maailis yung AIO at maganda kapit ng KSG. in case gusto mo rin mag dalawang patong ng KSG para mas maganda pa ang kintab, just allow curing time of minimum 4-8 hrs bago mo i-apply yung 2nd layer.

since you are asking about waxing application and buffing by machine wala naman problema yan sa clear coat ng paint kasi non-abrasive na pads naman yung ginagamit para i buff. usually ang wax naman by hand application lang then kung gusto mo i-buff by machine para mabilis pwede. but if you're talking about compounding/polishing by machine on a monthly basis, parang OC na masyado yan, 3x or 2x a year ok na yan.

sirs nagparepaint ako ng scratch sa front bumper ko sa casa. I noticed after naging magaspang na yung ibang surfaces ng kotse (hood, front fenders, etc). Hindi siya visible sa eye pero ramdam na ramdam nung hinugasan ko. I suppose this is from the spray paint or clear coat?
How to restore/fix the rough surface? DIY lang kung pwede salamat!
