Option1: wash with car wash solution ie meguiars ultimate wash wax.

Option2: wash with waterless wash ie meguiars ultimate waterless wash anywhere. Concentrate is hard to find though.

    Option3: onr/onr+ readily available. https://youtu.be/HGmCZj-vdXk

Not the best video above but it tells generally how it works.
    Thanks for these options.

If I choose to do option1, will it wipe off the existing wax? Do I need apply wax after?

Usually mild yang mga high end car shampoo so di masyado naka affect sa wax. Pero almost anything can diminish your wax, water, init, sunlight, etc .You will know kung effective pa yung natirang wax if pag banlaw niyo ay nag bead yung tubig or hydrophobic pa yung paint surface ng car. Pag di ka naman nagtitipid wax lang ng wax madali lang naman lalo na pag spray. Hehe

Most glass coating has an initial curing of 1 hour . after 1 hour you can put another layer. most manufacturer recommend a 24hr no water contact, for instances this cannot be avoided a silica based sealant is applied on top of the coating to prevent water spotting, curing can also be accerelated if an IR light is used. Your coating should be fine, but check for water spotting since it has not reach its full hardness yet.

Hopefully it won't, but what if there's water spotting? What shall I do?

Park under the sun if the weather is clear. This will accelerate the dehydration and curing.

Firstof all, congratulations on your glass coated car. Worst case scenario is mag harden yung coating mo kasama yung water mark, Yun lang naman. It will not affect durability ng coating.
As ginnova said, we usually counter this by using a silica based spray sealant.
When you see a water spot, try to dub with a damp soft microfiber towel. Or blow away the water with pressurized air.

Thanks Sir, actually, if I were to choose, parang mas gusto ko pa rin mag detail, mas ma appreciate mo ang car by washing, cleaning and waxing it by yourself, but, as what I have stated, wala kaming covered garage dito and yung environment dito sobrang polluted, kaya I have no choice but to have it glass coated (5layers to be exact), I already returned the car to the detailer this evening, they dried it up and iniwan ko sa kanila, sa Sunday or Monday ko na balikan kasi until Sunday pa ang ulan dito, but I think it already cured na kasi its almost 24hours na before it got wet, yun nga lang, just to be sure, binalik ko na lang sa kanila para ma double check, ako pa naman na ocd, hay, hirap hehehe

Thats what I would've done also - leave the vehicle sa shop - no exposure sa elements.

With so much traffic meron pa ba time mag detail hahahah.

Same here sir, if I have the luxury of time, I prefer to wax my car myself too, mas gusto ko parin ang kintab ng wax lalo na sa red or black cars.
But like you, being practical, getting our cars glass coated, makes them more formidable against environmental contaminants.

Sir, I wax every month and then I wash kng ma dumi na, hay, kahit konting dumi I wash it na 😢, hirap pag ocd isang tao and bcoz I don't have a covered garage, when it rains the previous night, and the next morning ay mainit na, I wash and wipe it with a microfiber cloth agad para iwas water spot.

With your glass coat. Your ocd fits will be lessen. no swirls and no waxing needed. Super light washing with chenille microfiber mit. Big sized mf towels for zero pressure drying. And lubricated mf for finishing.

    5 layers = ultimate durability = tatagal yan 😉

Hi, I'm new here. I get dizzy just knowing all kinds of brands and products to use for our new car. Our car has white paint. I'm curious if I need to buy products that are specific to a white-painted car?

When I was in ACE last week and checking the Nanoglos and Nanosliq products, another shopper casually asked for the color of my car. When I replied it's a white one, he mentioned another brand which I didn't hear well. I still bought the Microtex ones ('cause they've had good reviews here as starting products by newbies for car maintenance. I hope I chose well. I'd appreciate inputs from you, guys. Many thanks!

Rule of thumb ko when choosing waxes, synthetic for rainy seasons and pure carnauba during summertime.
As for the curing time sir, i haven't tried nanosil before applying nanogloss pa. Marami dito nakatry na nung process na yun sir so i suggest backread lang a few pages.
Just curious what LSP is? (Super newbie and so many acronyms to remember!)

    Thanks.

Si sir Kitoy22 meron hehehe. For old cars heavy detailing cost much plus the coating. For new cars makaka mura kasi less detailing.
