    TIA

Is it okay to use a cleaner wax on a month old car? There are little black particles that can't be removed with a simple wash. Maybe tire black slings mga yun. Natatanggal if i rub really hard with a QD and MF towel but I'm afraid I'm doing harm to the clear coat. I also have tiny latex paint particles on the paint and tail light. Nagpintura kasi kapitbahay. Is clay better for the job?

*sparkfly: use detailing clay bar + QD. these will remove embedded contaminants and will not harm clear coat.

try mo sa mga hardware stores inside the mall. or ask sa mga detailing shops. brands include Meguiar's, Mothers, etc. meron nyan kit na may kasamang QD at MF towel. meron din clay lang.

What world difference does a dedicated paint sealant have VS a normal car wax?

I am planning on ordering online a known good paint sealant for my 10-week-old SUV for it to be "winter-ready".

I used to just do the car wash-clay bar-polish-wax routine (using a DA buffer) on my previous SUV and paint's been immaculate ever since, even after a harsh winter. So i'm thinking if buying a paint sealant will do wonders compared to just using a car wax.

    Any thoughts guys?

*greatauror28: in general, sealants have better durability. but again, durability will depend on how much abuse your paint gets. if you use your car as a daily driver in the metro, then expect durability to shorten.

    Sealants (Synthetic Wax)
    - Last longer than carnauba wax. Typically lasts 4-6 months, with some even up to 12 months.
    - Usually come in liquid form so are much easier to apply than carnauba paste wax
    - Gives that slick, brilliant sparkle and hard-as-glass look (but still not as shiny as carnauba wax)
    - The logical choice for daily drivers or busy detailers

    Recommendations:
    - Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant (Premium durability and wet-look shine)
    - Meguiar's Ultimate Wax (Long-lasting protection and deep, dark reflections)
    - Meguiar's NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (Most Popular)
    - Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze (Best shine and ease of use)
    - Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection (Slick finish and incredible depth)

    Carnauba Wax
    - Typically lasts 4-8 weeks.
    - Usually harder to apply than synthetic wax
    - Gives that warm, deep, liquid look and shine that looks more natural
    - The only choice for many enthusiasts and show car owners

    Recommendations:
    - Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax (When price is no object, best in class)
    - Zymol Concours Glaze (Amazing show car shine)
    - Sonax Premium Class Carnauba Wax (Another premium level wax)
    - P21S Concours Carnauba Wax (Most popular)
    - Collinite’s Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915 (Paint friendly, classic genuine carnauba formula)

    Paint Coating
    - Will not wash or wear off. Can last for 2 years or much longer.
    - Paint finish has to be properly prepared before application. Any blemish or contamination on the paint will be permanently locked in.
    - Provides a clear, hard coating that provides increased protection against the elements
    - The professional choice for permanent paint protection. No more waxing!

    Recommendations:
    - GTechniq EXO Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating (Lasts up to 5 years)
    - Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 (Lasts for the car's lifetime)
    - CarPro CQuartz (Lasts up to 2 years)

Actually kahit sealant lang without wax okay na. My favorite is wolfgang. Did two layers and imo shinier and has better dept than ksg.
