It was kind of pricey. The tarp kasi is thick. Then i requested for galvanized metal. Thicker bars (1 and 1/4 inch), and more trusses and supports so that it's stable. It's enough to fully cover my car and a little more.
    Total price was 12.8k.

I canvassed din around for the ones that are 6k on sulit.com but the poles seemed to be quite thin and fragile. It would probably break in the wind.

anong sinabi ng Cquartz dyan di ba? protection from the sun and rain, peace of mind, time and effort saved - it's a great upgrade for your car. also you can walk into the house without being soaked in rain. tie the posts to the bars of your fence if you can.

congratulations! i'm so glad for you and your car.

Pwede, but I don't see any reason to do it immediately after. You can use it as a drying aid after washing, to add more lubrication and further minimize the chances of marring.

I love the Supernatural Hybrid! It adds a nice shine to the car, but there is also a lot of depth, like you'd see with a pure carnauba. The beading is the best I've seen - better than 845, KSG, Opti-Seal, OCW or UQW - and it sheets water off so quickly. Durability has also been good, so far - I've had it on the car for 5 weeks, through two tropical storms plus a trip to and back from Baguio, and it's still beading and sheeting very well, even on a dirty vehicle (I've not had a chance to wash it since the Baguio trip during the long weekend, so beading is somewhat distorted on some portions, but the beading on the cleaner parts is still very nice). All in all, I'm very impressed with it.

QID? Meg's Quick Interior Detailer? I'm sure you could, but why?

Ah ok Yes, you can mix them as well, to add some more lubricity to OID. I generally use 90% OID to 10% ONR QD (I usually don't use QDs for cleaning paint), but you can up the ONR if you want more cleaning (though OID also has some cleaning ability, so I don't think you need to go to a 50/50 mix).

thanks again umi. but if I may ask again, bakit hindi ka nagamit ng QD for cleaning? Is there something not really good about it? how about rinseless wash? TIA.

Just my own OC-ness about marring - I'd rather wash the car than use QD to clean up; if I don't have the time, I'll just leave it dirty than risk marring the paint using a QD and towels. It's not the easiest thing to do - there's always a desire to keep the car spotlessly clean, but I do feel that minimizing how often you touch the paint, even if it means having a somewhat dirty car, help minimize marring, which means that, down the road, you won't need to polish as often. As for rinseless washing, I am a big fan; I have (and use) both ONR and DP Rinseless, and prefer it to regular washing, in fact - no need to deal with dragging around hoses and getting yourself wet.

I have the same sentiments as umi. Since I have a white car it usually gets dirty below the beltline once the rain stops, but I'd usually do a carwash rather than the QD. Funny enough, the only time I use a QD to actually "clean" a car is on the hood and the trunk lid, I can't stand if those two parts are dirty.

Gah, I wanna try the Dodo Juice Supernatural Hybrid *throws off Collinite off the list* Extinct bird juice here I come!
