Help with car paint down to metal

Hello po. May Innova 2020 (Gray) na sasakyan po kami kaso nasagi po ako nung paliko na ako sa isang kanto. Ano ang pwede kong gawin dito? Mahal po ba magpagawa nito? Nasa magkano po kaya ito?

i don't recognize the area, but if it is the bumper,
it's rubberized plastic. it won't rust. ever.

painting it is easy.

if your car is under comprehensive insurance, report it to your insurance provider. ask how much it will cost you in participation fees.
also, ask around how much the neighborhood pintor will charge you for it.
then decide which.

katokin nyo po. iba ang tunog. lapitan nyo nang magnet. unlike the metal fender behind it, hindi didikit.

if i were me and i am not pihikan naman,
i would probably ask the neighborhood auto pintor to do only the damaged segment and not the entire bumper. the price will probably be cheaper than the participation fee.
the end product might not be concours perfect, but i believe it will be adequate if you are not a perfectionist.

Sa suki kong talyer na maganda mag color match 5.5k ang singil sa whole bumper repaint, kaya in 3 days. Kung portion lang ng bangga, 4k ang singil. Kaya pinabuo na din ng kapatid ko.

Minsan mas maganda gawa sa labas kaysa sa casa.

my cars actually have several bumper hits. including some that very similar to the post-er's.

i chose not to have them re-painted. matatamaan lang naman ulit, kasi...
pintahan ko na lang kapag i-bebenta na ang sasakyan.

^ Oo nga, lalo kung may edad na ang sasakyan. Trabaho naman talaga din ng bumper, sa pangalan pa lang, hehe. Buti plastic na ang karamihan.

Masakit lang siguro kung less than a year ang sasakyan. Instinct ay ipagawa agad.

Yung rust ba sa roof areas lalo sa medyo may edad na tsikot normal lang?

^ Wala naman sa 19 year old Civic namin dati. Original ang pintura sa bubong hanggang sa nabenta last year. Sa unang 16 years, naka covered parking ito.

for new owners with new cars, the urge to have that bumper re-painted is big.
it takes a lot of will power, not to have them fixed.
sa totoo lang, no one on the road pays too much attention to them.
after all, they are only performing their duty.

old besta and sentra (8 years), altis and innova (15+ years).
no roof rust.
yup. roofed garage helps maintain the paint finish and/or prevent rust.
