re:ME, got a ME friend that contarcted/restored my '55 benz back early 90's... may sariling bender sa bahay/welding xlt fabricator din nun panahon yun... kaso lang when pinatubo struck san fernando (oct 95)...wala gano customer, hence was force to work as a quality control engineer in 1 of the jap automobile plant in laguna.
to potable CNC mill/milling up to 6 axis (can engave/cut metals for emblems/decals) or
related task...can be usefull...
lawin motors po is temporarily closed due to financial problems...
dami po kalaban, subic/cebu imports, xlt fabs in pamp, multi cabs in cebu

years ago sumali din ako sa UV on the spot designing contest sa PICC sponsored then by FMC... counterFX name ng entry ko... its similar to then
anfra transporter but with simplier body lines/curves... sa pampanga pa ako na-uwi then...hindi kuna alam kinahinatnan.
back then HOT sa market ang tamaraw from toyota... sana sinunod nila
trend...ng nagkaroon sana ng FMC-taxis... years later isuzu/mitsu introduce their own variants...
just a note to designers... make the head lamps/tail/signal/clearance lights simplier

I have sketches. But I have to scan them. But I do have a lot of blueprints myself.
Im working on a van. Probably a LWB and a SWB version (SWB is for the 4WD version) I am also thinking of a very competitive angles.

the blueprints are very useful for measurement comparisons between what is out there and what we are designing para realistic talaga. does your blueprint have measurements? whats the resolution of those blueprints that you have? mas malaki, mas maganda para madaling sukatin.

Just want to ask if anybody here resort to making scale model after finishing your designs? I think its a nice idea and cheaper too so that you can actually see how your drawings would look like in the final prototype... Because even the big manufacturers they still do clay modeling before deciding to roll out into final protoype.... Just asking.

Hi Roman.
Scale modeling is actually the next step to computer 3D modeling.
Small design group lang tayo dito, kaya can't afford full-size (FS) clay or wood models.
The scale model is the bridge between the drawings and the prototype.
So far, we are seriously thinking of building up to the ... < > ... stage.
Meantime, if you're really into this project, read the thread history, drop by often, and if you have other ideas, please don't hesitate to post them. BUT if you want some confidentiality, you can PM architect, OyiL, or myself.
