Water pump not from Honda should be around 1200-1400 php. Timing belt get it from Honda. it should be around 1500 give or take. As for a shop to replace your belts you might as well go to speedyfix in Shaw or Autotechnika, ask user speedyfix or torque2006 respectively how much they will charge for the parts and service or just the service.

November 4th, 2006 01:14 PM #13Mga sir,
I already replaced my timing belt recently during the 84,000kms reading..also included are fuel filter, oil filter, engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, timing belt, alternator belt..ang di lang nkasama dito is ung Water pump.
God Bless!

Am no mechanic
hmmm... since you're only overheating while stuck in traffic, sa tingin ko water pump nga yan, the water pump circulates the coolant sa engine water jacket which cools the engine.
kasi kung thermostat yan (hindi bumubukas thermostat) kahit tumatakbo ka (not stuck in traffic) aakyat ang temp indicator mo dahil nga stuck-up ang thermostat hindi makapag-circulate ang coolant.
so I think it's the water pump.

November 5th, 2006 12:49 PM #16it's probably time to replace the thermostat and thermoswitch assuming there are no leaks. a water pump is belt driven so there is no reason for it to stop working if the engine is running.

November 5th, 2006 01:13 PM #18on a belt driven pump, if the waterpump seizes, the belt will snap. if the belt snaps, you will know it for sure coz the engine will not run.

I agree. Note that you're spending 1.763M for a model which essentially came out 4 years ago and...
