anyone tried x-films? they have 3 types of tint (clear, dark, super dark). medyo mura dahil introductory pricing pa siya.

What's nice about 3m tint is it doesn't become a "talong"/eggplant colored tint after a while unlike some cheaper tints. (though it might if you clean it with an ammonia based glass cleaner--which is not recommended).

Mirareed is also a good brand. So is v-cool (pricey though: More than p10,000 for a whole car).

But tinting is a preference. Personally, no tint looks best. That said, my car is tinted with a smoke black 3m tint. I like the look of no tint because it's simple and clean looking, but i had to put tint because i'm a hitman... Er... I mean, i don't like the sun to kill me first.

Go with what looks good to you.

p.s. My only advice is don't go too dark... It's hell to drive at night with really dark tint.

UPDATE: Pinatanggal ko napo yung SunBloc (installed on windshield only), mainit sa kamay (or other body parts na tamaan ng araw, parang konti lang masyado TSER nya for the price we paid, not happy at all. Replaced it with Nano-Tech Ceramic Charcoal Neutral 35% VLT at TintRoom Davao. So much better heat rejection and done in a dedicated tinting room.

Maganda nga yang nano-tech. Wala lang kasing advertisements or reviews sa net kaya hindi kilala. And it's good you picked the Charcoal. Yung reflective series nagiging hazy pag tinamaan ng sikat ng araw at a certain angle.

Eto nga pala mga quoted price sakin for reference

BF FILM Stone 9k. 71% heat resistance
Sunbloc Carbon 5,330. 60-80% IR Reject
Sunbloc Ultimate 12,170. 80-90% IR Reject

Yung vkool oem naman 20k less 60% so 8k nalang plus 600 for removal of old tint

Parang ang cool nung bf film dahil kahit super dark shade ay clear padin sa loob

Nasa 7k plus nalang yung BF Stone sa cash payment.

P6.5k yung WS lang. Nagkaroon konting bubbles for a few days which madali lang nilang inayos. Cured in about 2weeks pero nagagamit ko na sasakyan at di nakakahilo (while curing). [emoji74]
