Pero bakit ganun? Mas madilim yung windshield ko kahit mas marami dapat ang ilaw na papasok based on the VLT figure?

Ganito ba talaga or FXST5 yung nakabit ng dealer instead of FXST20?

The reason I'm asking is because I want to change the WS tint, either to 3M CS5 or VKool OEM5. Masyadong tagos kasi yung init sa current tint ko. But I want to know if I can handle the darkness of these tints. Kung nagkamali yung dealer at FXST5 na pala ang nakainstall sa akin ngayon, then I won't have any issues with these new tints.

I need a new WS tint with TSER of 60% or more.
No don’t do it, it’s gonna be challenging to drive at night with a super black tint in the windshield.

The reason why FXST 20 is darker than BC20 is because FXST is the low end tint of 3M therefore the inferior performance of the tint.

Plus reflective tints like the BC20 generally provide better visibility/appear lighter than black tints like FXST, CS or vkool OEM.

From my experience oem 20 is a bit difficult pa rin sa gabi.. mas ok ang k series, mas reflective nga lang from the outside. K28 vs oem20, i think mas maliwanag sa gabi ang k28 ( indi pa po ako nakatry )

Kaya ko yung dilim ng FXST20 (which is darker nga than the BC20) pero I need something that can better stop the heat. I am satisfied with the BC20 kaso baka maapektuhan yung Waze ko.

Maybe I should look at other brands?

sa experience ko matagal din ako naka 3m dark tint dati until I made research then found out about vkool. Mas ok nga heat rejection niya. Siguro mas mataas na category nga lang ung k series sa dark tint ng 3m kaya ganun.

OEM 35 (or 30 ba?) windshield, then 20 sa front windows and rear windshield, then OEM 5 yung natira.
or # 3 if well lit yung area ng byahe mo or very familiar kana sa route.

I have 2 cars with 3M CS20 windshield and CS05 sides. Then another one with Vkool OEM20 all around.

I prefer having 5% VLT on the sides and 20% VLT for the windshield. Better aesthetics and more privacy, without severely compromising drivability at night. Just last night I was able to drive down Baguio under zero visibility fog with my 3M CS20/CS05 combo:

Do note that even if I have OEM LEDs and HIDs on the cars, lighter tight even with just halogen headlamps still has better nighttime visibility.

30 for the WS is just perfect for me. With 20 or less sa sides, you won't be visible outside anyway. Then 70 sa sunroof to maximize light once you open the shade.

Unsolicited advice: if you have the budget go ceramic [emoji106] CERAMIC TINT vs REGULAR TINT (yuuuge difference) - YouTube

Some window film (ceramic based) perform as well as other sputtered/reflective films during live demo. However to further test the performance, expose it to higher heat and longer duration of time - and compare again. Ceramic based films absorb heat energy and over time, heat still seeps through. While sputtered films reflect heat away, resulting in consistently high performance even after long periods of time.

Hi Guys, aesthetically from the outside, which.one is better in a silver car? Vkool K series or the OEM's?

Kung OEM im planning 05 wrap around except WS which will be 20.

Sa K naman K14 wrap around except WS which will be K28.

My order of concern is outside aesthetics then visibility last heat rejection but i guess from the choices heat rejection would be more than sufficient already.

    TIA.

OEM are blacker so you have more contrast. K series are leaning towards the silvery shade.

    Id get oem
