I'm planning to change my tint mga after 2 months, so I'm choosing between V-Kool OEM and 3M tint(I dont know if 3M has variants). You might recommend which brand and type ng tint ang mas ok. Budget ko is around up 7K.

What im looking for is the following:

    1. Of course, yung rejection ng heat
    2. Black, yung hinde nakikita yung loob pero maliwanag pag nasa loob even sa gabi, meaning even I have black tint hinde nagsuffer pagdadrive ko.
    3. It can last.

    Salamat!

Ive used Black Chrome series ng 3M before I opted for Signature Series ng V-KOOL... masmaganda heat rejection ng V-KOOL for me, plus nakaseatcovers pa ang seats mo/dashboard during installation para hindi matalsikan nung sprayer/sabon hehe

PM mo ko, I know someone from V-KOOL Main Office baka makadiscount pa ng konti.

Loyal user of 3M before (Black Chrome, Color Stable and FX series). Since we nung nagpalagay kami ng V-Kool OEM 05 (side and rear windows, freebue of Chevrolet Otis) and V-Kool Signature K14 (WS, paid 3.5k dahil sa patong ng Chevy Otis, original price is 2.8k full WS) on our Trailblazer, we vowed never to go back to 3M and to SolarGard also. V-Kool's heat rejection is superb talaga, compared to 3M and SolarGard, kahit OEM series lang.

Choices ko ay windshield medium dark tapos wraparound super dark or windshield and front window medium dark tapos super dark the rest. Thanks in advance!

pinaka-safe is light tint sa windshield and front windows, medium or dark tint on the rest. this is Europe and US safety standard. dito sa Pinas, manyak standard kaya naka-dark tint pati sa harap. LTO does not allow dark tint on the windshield pero ewan bakit hindi nanghuhuli ang mga enforcers.

LTO is full of sh!t. They're inept, and happy just collecting whatever they can for renewals and the like.

BTT: VKool OEM 05 and 3M CS 05 is about the same. We don't expect much variance in terms of darkness here, so you'll probably want to get a lighter shade for your requirements. Pwedeng dark smoke OEM 20 or CS 20. It's the shade lighter and can be used for the front windows. For the windshield, pwedeng OEM 35 or CS35 (medium).

3M CS is more expensive than V-Kool OEM by around Php1,200 depending on vehicle. based from experience, mas maganda heat rejection ng vkool oem saka visibility sa loob ng sasakyan lalo na pag gabi. sa fading naman subok na din 3M cs; although yung vkool oem dun sa isang car namin laging bilad sa araw so far so good naman di pa naman nagbabago kulay till now

i had 3M ST05 before in my older car. I could say na the V-Kool tint is really a higher notch than 3M even compared to their CS variant. coming from 3M, interior visibility is really far more lighter than that of my previous 3M tint. heat rejection is also very different from 3M, mataas talaga yung sa V-Kool.

here is a view from my side window during night driving on a dimly lit street.
I have V-Kool OEM 5 installed on my sides and rear windshield
