VKool VK series 70 for front windshield, get the clearest tint you can afford for visibility during heavy rain at night.

August 2nd, 2016 09:06 AM #74My setup at present is 3m on full windshield it is color stable 35, then sa front sides cs 05, then the rest is fxst 05.
Fxst 05 , (superdark tint) pinapalit ko to cs 05 also super dark tint but bright from viewing inside to outside. ----- that's what im looking for in vkool tint. Any suggestions and if you have actual pics if possible.
Contemplating still for front windshield if vk40 or vk 30. Again privacy as well as clear view from the inside is what matters to me especially heat rejection.
Thanks

if they can't see you inside, it's a safe bet, you won't see them either, especially at night. dangerous driving, this is.

August 2nd, 2016 09:21 AM #79^Oh, my bad! That wasn't available when I had my tint installed last year. In any case, all the VK series offer great visibility BOTH ways. Even the darkest, VK30, which seems to be just a few shades darker than my 40 would not really hide you from anyone. The driver can be seen even at night.
The darker shades in the other series might be better for you if you want privacy.
Edit: I have X15 on my windows. Some angles are reflective from the outside, but not very opaque.

August 2nd, 2016 09:28 AM #80We should really have tint law, at least for front windshield. Minimum 30% VLT only. No medium tint, no dark tint.

I wouldn't even have known that car existed if not for your post ...
