had mine done sa santolan store. from greenhills travel along ortigas going to new manila. sa traffic light on the corner of santolan, turn left. the shop is on the left just after the traffic light near a cake shop and kowloon house.

got super dark grey/silver/grey for rear and sides. charcoal medium for front. total cost mga 5k plus labor for tanggal ng old tint.

comments: dilim! hahaha, night driving needed getting used to pero ok na after a few days. its cool inside kahit bilad sa araw tapos bilis lamig aircon kasi di masyado hirap. heat rejection is a-ok. pag mainit sa labas, ang init ng window pero di tagos sa loob.

but if i had a choice, id go for medium wrap around na. chalk it up as newbie experience na lang hehe

hmmm parang tama lang sa price kasi i had mine for 5 years now... 4k (give or take) yung lahat and 1 pc sa windshield. mine has super dark sides and rear and midium black sa windshield.

mas mahal po talaga ng konte ang solargurd than 3M. take a look at the panther 5 ng 3M (yung darkest nila). halos mas madilim pa yung medium black ng solargurd.

+1 mabilis lumamig yung aircon kahit bilad pa sa araw yung oto.

    x-isle,

lancer itlog (glxi 93-96). mahal ng konti sa 3m pero i didnt want to risk getting the fake 3m tints. and ive heard good reviews on solarguard. front and rear one piece cut, plus tanggal old tint. kaya dagdag sa price. but im very satisfied with the work. hardly any bubbles. actually meron konti, pero when i pressed my thumb on it, nawala. showed it to the shop and they said ok na daw.

forgot the name, just follow the directions papi.

Solargard HP and XG films comes with a 5 year warranty against fading.

Solargard Quantum has a lifetime warranty against fading.

I use Solargard Quantum in my outie. Very satisfied with it. Cost little bit more than ordinary but its a lifetime warranty. During at night just like you only have a neutral tint but during the day the outsiders can barely see the inside. Only thing with quantum is that during at night your window seems like a hologram look and rainbow look.

after some inquries through phonecalls ( solarguard san juan branch)

Solargard HP - medyo may pagkaglossy yung black
Solargard XG - flat yung pagkablack

i had mine installed at LA cars using solargard XG. compared with 3M parang mas ok yung visibility ng solargard and for the heat rejection ma-tetesting ito during summer months.

almost 2 years na solar gard quantum ko na dark magic on my trooper.

still parang kakakabit lang ng tint, very elegant and good heat rejection.

    ang liwanag sa gabi.

done at LA cars for 4500 on trooper.

medyo confusing ng konti ang name/s ng tint mentioned in this thread--thread title mentions SOLARGUARD. pero, sa mga different posts meron mention of SOLARGARD. SOUNDS ALIKE and CONFUSINGLY SIMILAR.

Are these TWO brands of tint different from one another or wrong spelling lang ang isa?

We have to be careful which we are referring to kasi the TWO may be really DIFFERENT, it ever these are two BRANDS existing in the market.

So, which BRAND of TINT (correct spelling) is being referred to here actually? Meron mga positive comments ang (two) brand(s) e...just want to be sure muna before considering the CORRECT (SPELLING) of the TINT

    thanks

hello guys. nagpost na ako dito sa thread na ito a month ago siguro or several weeks ago. pinakabitan ko solargard yung hi ace namin superblack lahat except yung harap , yung sumunod sa superblack kinabit. first napansin ko nga mas nawala yung init lalo na pag tanghaling tapat. kasi ang tint ko before is sunguard napansin ko lang sa sunguard talagang kumukupas. doble tint ko dun sa hi ace before. 3m magic light yung unang tint then sunguard na medium ata yung pinatong. so pumapasok ang init talaga. at kita ako sa loob which pag gabi hindi ko gusto lalo na magisa ka.

nung kinabitan ng solargard masnawala talaga yung init. pero comparing it with my other rides na nakasuper black din. like 2 of my other rides 3m ang brand yung isa platinum same lang halos ang effect sa heat rejection. pansin ko lang na halos same. im not saying hindi ok ang solargard dahil since may mga stores ako nakausap na nirerecommend solargard i really tried it since ilang hundreds lang difference niya sa tint ng 3m.

so my conclusion basta po super black mas hindi mainit. platinum man. 3m o solargard. harap ko lagi is yung sumunod sa superblack. medium ata tawag nila dun.

yung ibang nagsabi na pansin din nila na mas less ang heat na pumapasok ano po ba ang tint nyo dati? super black din ba?

Nagpakabit ako kahapon SG xg 20 sides and rear tapos xg 35 full front.

Okay naman lapat, concern lang is parang brown ang shade pag tinignan ung sasakyan from sides, ganun kaya talaga pag bagong lagay o ganun talag ung tint?
