got back yesterday night since Tuesday pa kami, ok naman ang trip home mabilis even the Urdaneta route. mas tumagal pa kami papasok ng Tarlac dun sa may Luisita
Baguio is so congested last Holy Week as in major traffic noon Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Black Saturday ang dami tao. just to go to Mines View Park, you'll spend more than 45 minutes para lang makapunta dun.
GMA is also in Baguio, ang dami pulis and PSG sa the Mansion. My dad tells me naglalaro siya ng Golf with Gary Lising and others

April 17th, 2007 10:29 AM #63Got back from baguio sunday. we used the regular route: bamban, capas, tarlac, urdaneta, marcos going up and kennon going down. smooth driving all the way and no traffic at tarlac and urdaneta.
left balintawak friday around 7am and arrived at baguio 1pm with a 40min stop at luisita. left baguio 10:30am sunday and arrived at balintawak around 5pm with about an hour's lunch at luisita.
marcos definitely better going up because of the gentler slope but going down, kennon should save you at least 15 min.

last April 9, 2007 at about 6pm, our neighbors who had just come from Nueva Ecija took the Kennon road route. At that time, there was a heavy downpour. Suddenly, big rocks came tumbling down from the slopes and hit the windshield and roof of their nissan sentra. Fortunately, no one was hurt (including the children) but they were shaken by the incident. its a good thing some motorists who were following them offred to help. Maybe its time to remind those who are going up to Baguio to maybe take the marcos hiway route especially during evenings or late afternoons where downpours are often expected. Kennon road is still safe as long as their is no heavy downpour...

mayroon ako nabasa before isang hostel type dyan sa Baguio as in mura lang less than 1k per night. ang bad feedback lang eh wag mag-stay sa dulo kasi maingay yun karaoke.
pero isang forumer no choice, punuan noon. so he stayed sa dulo. wala naman maingay at nakatulog sya kagad. then in the middle of the night nagising, sya may isang tao nakaupo sa kama niya. the man stood and touched his chest.
nagising sya bigla, may multo pala hehehe after the July '90 quake, dumami daw ganyan sa mga hotels dun eh

Sa Green Valley, sa VIP something, 5k/night pero ok yung house, up and down and it can contain heat so di ka masyado mangangatog sa lamig esp pag dawn.
***y welds! Apparently the subcon that makes the part replaced a worn welding tip but did not...
