Time to leave a sinking ship...

Hongkongers get serious in pursuing overseas passports as they sell homes at huge discounts to fund move | South China Morning Post

Hongkongers’ interest in emigrating has jumped fourteen fold as the four-month long anti-government protests show no signs of ending, and many are selling their property before the housing market deteriorates further to finance their move, according to Midland Immigration Consultancy.

The consultancy said that inquiries have skyrocketed from some 20 in May before the controversy over the now-abandoned extradition bill erupted to about 300 in September when the protests started taking an increasingly violent turn.

    Ano kaya mangyari sa disneyland,

Ive been to Anaheim, Paris and Tokyo disneyland, and I find HK disneyland the most incomplete pero mura, makakakuha ka ng ticket ng less than 3k sa mga discount shops dyan sa Kowloon island, pero baka sarado na din yun shop na yun ngaun.

yun pala me plano na din ang mga HK protesters to vandalize Disneyland and Ocean Park, pag yun ang nangyari wala na talaga Hongkong, Para na din sila natapakan ni Kingkong nun

^^^ Although Morey remains at his post, his job in Houston could still be in jeopardy based on how far-reaching the effects of the saga have been. Silver said Thursday, "The financial consequences may go on and be fairly dramatic."

According to Nichols, "several players" argued the league likely would've fined or suspended a player who did something to hurt the NBA's bottom line as much as the Hong Kong tweet has.

Dave McMenamin of ESPN also reported one Lakers player lost a $1 million endorsement deal with a Chinese company as he was traveling to the country.

    Sino Kaya yun... Hehehe

    ^ and indonesia too.

Amidst the reelection backdrop of president widodo, big protests in the past few weeks have unhinged & shaken the stability of the muslim nation. New laws designed to curb gov't opposition have left indonesians openly simmering.

Btw, indonesia has been hailed as the most democratic asean country in the recent past. I can't believe we no longer hold that distinction.
