Hello everyone. newbie here seeking for recommendations. (for Toyota Revo AT 2003 Model)
*2 weeks ago, while driving from Makati going to Cavite bigla nlng nag blink sa dashboard " O/D OFF " (continuously) then i noticed bigla nlng hirap umahon sa flyover ung oto. Since then nawala ung arangkada ng sasakyan. Everytime na gagamitin after 10mins mag bblink na ung "O/D Off", Pag pa akyat I have to shift from D to 2 or L, I had it checked sa isang kakilala had ATF changed. Pero walang improvement. Only having Problem on D, the rest - P/R/N/2/L/ is perfect.


Is it a major tranny issue that requires rebuild or replacement? or could be something minor considering ung D lang ang may issue?
Would appreciate your expert opinions and recommendations. Thanks and God bless

kapag nag-drive ka ba on "D" and you turn off the O/D switch, does the "O/D OFF" indicator remains lit sa dashboard? or blinking din siya?

Pag nagblink ang over drive my problema switch sol or sa valve kc nagstock sya sa high gear. Try mo kumunsulta sa rebuilder ng V.body kung meron sa pinas.

best to make an appointment first para ma-prioritize ka. madami talaga customers iyon

re sa price, in my case hindi naman ako tinaga tapos 1 year warranty pa binigay so satisfied naman ako sa terms - not to mention naayos din ng maayos iyong fd ko. pero iba-iba kasi kaso natin so i really can't say

(Na-ondoy)

Repair History
(Replaced radiator with evercool)
(Replaced water pump)
(Nagoverheat na once)(dahil sa water pump)
(Alternator repaired)(drained battery)

Issues:
Minsan nag light up yung "oil can" symbol sa dashboard. Hindi matagal, as in parang flash lang. (Pag bumpy?)

Transmission slipping, kailangang i release onti yung gas para mag shift to the next gear.

May grinding sound specially at low speeds(youtube link)

OD switch seem glitchy. Pag in-off medyo magflicker yung OD symbol sa dashboard bago maging stable.

Suspension is really hard, bouncy na yung likod.

We hope you can help us with recommendations on shops and what to do and kung magkano kaya magagastos namin lahat lahat.

My dad left this car to us. He passed away with cancer 2 years ago kaya medyo napabayaan yung sasakyan kasi wala naman may alam samin sa mga sasakyan. Nagbabasa basa lang din ako ngayon kasi ayaw ko pumunta sa auto repair shop na wala talaga idea.

Taga marikina kami so, if anyone can point us to the right direction (reputable shops that specialize on these problems na malapit lang sana at hindi banawe) we would really appreciate it. Nanakawan kasi si papa ng dalawang side mirror sa banawe and lalot wala kaming alam. I think its a bad idea to go there.

good afternoon po..
any one na may alam na shop that could diagnose a 1997 honda city a/t lxi? near pasig, rizal, marikina, antipolo area. malakas po kasi kalabog kapag nag shift between 1st gear to 2nd gear kpag nasa "D3"or "D4", wala hatak yung gear "2". kapag slowing down na may kalabog pa din. need advise po..newbie lang sa A/T. salamat po.

Sir okay naman ang ATF? Check nyo muna. Pag okay ang ATF may problema sa V. Body switch tulad ng Shift sol 1 or TCC pressure sol..

Local ba sir? Year model? Pero tingnan nyo muna mga solenoid kung gumagana.. Maganda din sana macheck ang v. Body para makita ang lock up bago pumunta sa overdrive clutch band.

Surplus 1992 model, nagtanong kasi ako sa isang shop sabi nya kailangan daw ibaba tapos singil nila nasa 40k kasi e overhaul na nila.

Late model na pla sir. Ang mahal pala ng overhaul. Pero sir try mo muna pa check ang Valve body bago mo pagawa.. Wla kc ako Alam sa atin ng specialist sa AT gear.

After reading the whole thread from the start. i took the risk of going to Mr. Alex Bulaong to have my 2005 Honda Jazz that is having problems with its tranny for some time. Mejo late na ako nagising kaya late na ako naka punta (11am). there were 2 vehicles na nauna that is being repaired (RAV4 & Optra ata). Both came there because of Tsikot.com

Alex test drove my car and told me that is was definitely a tranny problem. He looked under the hood and told me what the problem is. it's the solenoid.

He asked me to buy the solenoid & a couple liters of tranny fluid (6 bottles of CVT fluid).

When i got back with the parts, he installed it minutes. poured almost 5 liters of CVT fluid (w/c i thnk is too much). then we tested it again.

Viola! wala na yung rattling ang slipping. Though i still think that he put too much cvt fluid, kaya mejo hirap ng konti sa shifting. (pababawasan ko na lang sa gas station later)

Tinanong ko sya kung magkano damage ko sa kanya. he said na na labor na lang bayaran ko.

Im glad na dinala ko sa kanila yung oto. Is it luck? i dont know. But im satisfied.

Hi Allan. Good morning. I just want to know. Did you have you tranny rebuild there in their shop?

I left my car there yesterday morning and was quoted 28K for the transmission rebuild. My car is 2002 Nissan Sentra Exalta Grandeur. I can sense that he's knowledgeable when telling me things about my tranny.

I'm really hoping for a best result.
