nung friday lang dahil lahat ng tao nasa banawe nagchristmas party sa mandarin sky.

Maluwag papunta cubao pero going banawe gera kahit 8pm na.

Balak ko pa naman mag long drive pa naman sana these coming holidays, but malamang, everybody's going out of town din so garage na lang mga sasakyan.

Eh if mapa expressway or roads near the malls dito sa metro na magmumukhang parking lot lang, di na bale siguro. Sayang gas, dagdag pollution + sakit lang ng katawan & pagod...

my impression re. nlex,
is that it was always traffic before covid.

if i have to guess,

Comparing notes with friends living in the South, mas rampant daw magbabad sa fast lane ang slow vehicles sa SLEX compared to NLEX, but depende rin siguro...

Not that it bothers me naman though, because I usually around hover around 100kph lang and stay clear of the fast lanes...

i slex regularly.
sa dami ng rfid booths in the exits i use,
the slow ones do not bother me one bit.

carmona exit is notorious...

southbound sucat and southbound bicutan, are hopeless.
but i think it's not the booths' fault. the problem appears to be the congested roads after them.

Pero hindi ba marami pang offices ang may work from the 26th until the 29th? It may not be that bad yet for going out of town or driving around the city as long as you avoid rush hour and you're not covered by number coding. Maluwag din ang malls on those days dahil pahinga muna sa gastos ang karamihan.

On Jan. 1, I'm sure marami nang mag-uuwian for Jan. 3.

Marami na going on leave starting from Wed kasi. Instead of commuting to cash yung unused leaves at the end of the year, ginagamit na lang ng iba.

Nagre report to office na ba mga tao? Sa mga friends ko lahat sila (who work for different companies) work from home pa rin. Isa lang ang kilala ko who reports to the office twice a week.

Hopefully nga lang no surge comes this Jan - Feb.

Reasons kung bakit nagkaka-traffic sa tingin ko:

1. Simply too much vehicles on the road. Recent models have been really good, and more people are able to afford cars because of more flexible loan packages. It's also an indication of the people's growing income. On the other hand, we also have too much buses and jeeps (many of which are barely full).

2. Poor and inadequate infrastructure. We still need much more road infrastructure to accommodate more vehicles. As for our existing ones, many are in disrepair, which then hamper the smooth flow of traffic. Also, we need more rapid transit systems so that people will use those instead of their cars.

3. Drivers lack discipline. No need to elaborate on that.

4. Poor reinforcement of traffic rules and regulations.

nakita ko sa facebook sa tagaytay daw ito. Paano nyo natitiis pupunta sa umaga traffic tapos uuwi traffic din. Or sanay na kayo sa traffic kaya sisiw na lang yan????

aubrey kung sanay ka sa traffic eh ibahin mo ako, a singleman living the life. I have no patience sa traffic. 4-5hours daw tagaytay.... Napa super juicecolored ako!!!!!

example yung chineck ko property paakyat masinag going sunvalley eh pauwi nabubwisit na ako sa gridlock sa palengke bago mag sm cherry inabot din ako 30minutes or 45 bago umabot ng sm masinag. Babalik ako may titingnan ako commercial space.

Ung traffic ng palengke bago mag sm cherry ay wala pa sa kalahati ng traffic ng Sumulong Hwy cr Marcos Hwy.
