Speaking of RFID, dumaan ako sa STAR nung weekend, nadetect sa Sambat at Sto Tomas...

...pero as usual, nganga na naman sa SLEx.

(merong light 3M tint, eh sabi nung naginstall sa Sta. Rosa years ago, pwede naman daw, olats pala. Tapos kung papalitan ay request letter tapos bayad 200. Nyek.)

I think ang problema are their readers and not the RFID stickers. My RFID sticker sa kotse, no problem sa entry at exit. 99% batting average. My sticker on my motorcycles, hit and miss. Even the one na pinapalitan ko recently ng sticker (and had to pay 200!)

Pansinin nyo sa toll gates, iba iba orientation ng reader nila. Meron nakalagay sa gitna. Meron banda left side/ driver side. Meron parallel sa ground tapos meron slightly facing the vehicle.

Sa 7-11 or Paymaya ako nag reload ng rfid and easytrip.
Badtrip lang nung minsan sa papuntang NAIA confiscated yung RFID card ko kasi daw below P100 ang load. Kunin ko daw sa bicutan yung card after 7 days. Hindi ko na kinuha. Waste of time. Alam ko naman account number.

Problema nyan bro, pag na swertehan ka at pag daan mo sa RFID lane ay di nabasa ang sticker mo, ano ibibigay mong card sa kanila?

Hassle, ikaw na ang may RFID burden of proof mo pa.

Whenever di mabasa ang sticker ko and i show my card, they check pa Kung may RFID sticker talaga ang sasakyan. Parang presumed guilty ka agad. I guess may ilan na dumadaan sa RFID lane using cars na walang sticker but may card sila from other vehicles. (nasanay siguro sa etap na they use one account to multiple vehicles)

Considering other countries use an open toll system. No barrier. Just a scanner sa taas.

BTW, sa experience ko, sa autosweep/SLEX lang ang may sablay sa scanning. Sa Easytrip /Cavitex/NLEX o can't remember last time na hindi nabasa RFID ko.

I just confirmed that unless vkool saka yun ang sang brand na tint hinde pwede ilagay sa windshield yun tag while other tint brands pwede kahit whole windshield pa naka tint.

Nakakainis nga tong ganito, ang tagal na nga dumating nung teller tapos pag bigay mo ng card sisilipin pa yung plaka mo.

I have Slex Rfid on my left headlight, Nlex Easy Trip on right headlight. So far, for both tags, I have never had an issue as long as I've kept my distance from the vehicle in front of me.

For my sanity, I also just made both accounts to just Auto Reload from a credit card so that I don't have to deal with reloading the two accounts.

Open yung Skyway Bicutan office ng Sunday, pumunta ako dun ng sun around 5pm couple months ago para papalit sticker, dalawa lang kami customer nung time na yun.

Pumunta ako one Sunday (approx 3 years ago) sarado. Kinatok ko and naghanap pa ako ng guard. hehe!

buwisit yung RFID lanes ng MCX sobrang haba ng pila pag rush hours. mas mabilis pa yung cash lanes.
