To those who replied about integrated SLEX-NLEX rfid tag, are you using the headlight type or windshield?

Why pay in cash? If you have the RFID sticker,that means you have the card also. If your sticker can't be read,a teller should manually scan your card and transact without cash needed.

mine is headlight type. i exited in marilao and gave them my card. kaso they returned it to me saying di nila ma scan pero yet galing ako mcx-slex ok naman. nakapasok nga ako north toll way nabasa naman. dun lang sa marilao hindi. i paid in cash after getting their assurance na hindi ako ma double charge. ayun naman after the monthly statement came wala naman charge hassle nga lang nakaharang ako sa exit ng toll gate ng marilao. i think this was in august ata

wasn't aware they have problematic scanners i was only there for four days for a seminar. twice on consecutive days ayaw basahin sa exit though sa entrance ok sya

Last night, the southbound scanners of Floridablanca and Clark South could not read my RFID. Yung Subic-bound side, wala naman problem.

Mine is windshield mounted slex RFID.

Used it a few hours ago at the Balintawak entrance and then at the Bocaue exit,- no issue ... You just have to position the vehicle very close to the boom.

Just an update:

SCTEX and NLEX southbound successfully read my SLEX rfid on my home from Pangasinan. It looks like the trick is to drive slowly towards the right side of the toll barrier.

‘No RFID, no entry’ policy on Skyway not yet final —Toll Regulatory Board

The “exclusive to RFID users” advisory posted on Skyway toll gates in southern Metro Manila is not yet final, a Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) official said Wednesday.

Advisories saying the Bicutan and Sucat exits of the Skyway will “soon” be exclusive to RFID (radio-frequency identification) users are part of an ongoing “sensitivity analysis” to gauge how motorists will react to the proposed policy, TRB spokesperson Alberto Suansing said in an interview on GMA News’ “Dobol B sa News TV.”

Requiring Skyway users to get an RFID sticker has been suggested by the Skyway O&M Corp. early last year, but the TRB advised them to first run a sensitivity analysis.

“We will conduct a sensitivity analysis kung payag ba sila, and ilan ba ‘yung pumapayag,” Suansing said.

“Early last year pa pinaguusapan ‘yan. Kasi nga ‘yung congestion ng elevated Skyway pagdating sa hapon, ‘yung mga cash payers nako-congest ‘yung main traffic way,” he added. —Ted Cordero/VDS, GMA News

Maybe she meant the MC file number in lieu of the actual plate number?

Yup, it should have the MV File No as temporary plate. Bawal ata ang walang plate number sa SLEX which is why he/she asked?

I don't think sir bawal sa SLEX. Plus she saw the sticker on my windshield already meaning, dumaan na sa proseso ng opisina nila and approved for tollway access.

Baka nga bored. Haha.

Although hassle kasi madalas sa MC di binabasa and I told them before the reason why I had my ride registered eh para mabilis and walang hassle to pass the tollways. Meaning, sa side nila problem when reading the sticker. Sa kotse so far no problem naman.

I would like to ask ano ba ang process kung gusto ko kumuha nito? Wala pa ako any rfid. Di na ko makasunod sa thread e. Ang alam ko ay kukuha ako for slex, then register for nlex use? Tama ba? Nakita ko rin sa net ay sa bicutan pa ang register, bakit yung iba nabasa ko sa shell makati? Thanks

I just got mine today! Just bring a photocopy of your OR/CR, your ID, your car, and money. Sa Sta. Rosa toll booths ako nagpunta, but I think there are other satellite booths along slex.

I just availed the RFID today and paid 1000 for my initial load. I haven't used it sa toll booths yet because I paid cash. I checked my balance online and 0 yung balance. Late lang ba talaga mag-update or did I get robbed? Haha

I might be mistaken pero wala yata manual scanning ng cards sa NLEX for some reason. Usually what they ask you to do is back the car up and approach the toll gate slowly. This works 95% of the time. Once on the Balagtas Bypass entry they asked me to change lanes instead when my RFID cannot be read. This last holiday trip they issued an entry card and told me to use the cash lanes when exiting instead, which is kind of a hassle since it negates the advantages of getting RFID in the first place. Partida niya I am using easytrip which I got 2 months ago mainly for cavitex use

The process is correct bro.

Get your SLEX RFID (Bicutan for sure or their assigned satellite offices- C5/Shell Makati). Wait a while until things got settled

And then secure your Easytrip account for your NLEX/Cavitex access.

Same here,- I have no Easytrip (NLEX/Cavitex) access card/s for the vehicles I registered.

But I have SLEX RFID access cards for each of our vehicles.
