Pati US and AUS -> iba pa din umikot kapag may car ka

(No sure if I mentioned it here or on another forum) kahit overseas holiday namin, unang hinahanap ko is car rental na sa airport ang pick-up. except sa Phuket, may contact na akong driver+car dun

Nakaka-inis sa Singapore and HK nung may Uber pa. 1 year driver's license lang kasi requirement nila... pati mga fresh grad na officemates namin nagkaroon bigla ng kotse.

as mentioned earlier... iba iba naman tayo...

    pero

    yung may kotse
    yung mahilig sa kotse
    mahilig mag drive

gagamitin natin kotse natin, kahit ma traffic pa

Maganda rin ang chikot if gusto niyong pamilya mag-away away privately during your trips.

Pero kung lumaki na using public transport, you will not see the need to have a car. No need for buying car. Anytime may available.

Eh sa aurora boulevard nga two lane road so magulo.

TApos pwede iextend yung edsa quezon avenue all the way sa makati-pasay.

Isa pa napipicture ko eh from gilmore all the way sa cainta dulo yun may nakalagay sa bus na tikling.

A safe mode of bikelane eh madami blue collar/student ito na lagn gagawin kasi malaki menos pamasahe.

Sa bisikleta umiikli ang food chain. MAtagal magpalit ng parts and the most important eh no fuel or electricity requried. .

How luhtang talaga.

    Again ELEVATED-COVERED-GUARDED BIKE LANE

Cars are optional in HK and Singapore. They are also too expensive for the average person.

A vios in SG is PHP 3M, a BMW 3 series is PHP 7M.

All the countries you mentioned have fantastic public transport

If I lived alone in any of those places, I wouldn’t bother getting a car even if I could afford one.

If youre in California or Miami, you need a car

In most parts of the USA, you need a car to move around. Lalo na if you live in the suburbs. Sa Chicago dati, may toll road (I88) connecting the western suburbs to downtown.

Sa lahat ng major US cities napuntahan ko, New York City lang yung massive yung public transport system. Marami pa rin kotse within the 5 boroughs but pahirapan parking sa Manhattan.

Could be a similar solution here in Metro Manila.

Train and Bus stations in the outlying areas with provisions for vehicle parking.... Then trains and government-controlled buses are the only ones entering the Metro without toll... You can drive your car in the Metro, but be ready to pay expensive toll... NYC has a fairly similar setup...

never ending joke sa SG and HK...

after drinking, everyone are on their phone.
Singaporeans, Chinese and Indians are booking for a drive home service
    Pinoys are booking for Grab/Taxi

same sa Sydney... but is only works if your an hour away by train sa work mo. if less than an hour, napaka-mahal na lang ng parking if the person decided to leave their car.
