I felt really bad when I was given a violation ticket doing 74kmh in NAIAX. They have not yet posted those signs indicating a maximum limit of 60kmh. The enforcer gave me a "Disobeying Traffic Signs" ticket, not an over speeding ticket.

Sana you showed him all the non-existent "street signs" posted all over his highway. Lol

There were signs already with a big 60 on them but there were no "Maximum" written on them yet. Inisip ko lang na baka umobra yung 60 dapat yung minimum. Hahahaha

Mukhang minimum pag isa lang. Lol considering na highway yun. Hahaha pero naiax has nice roads. Bago pa kasi siguro.

ofcourse. i bet any driver could push that van past the speed limit. same penalty as the first offense?

Indeed. pardon me for not taking into consideration that the most number of vans taking the expressways are speeding grand starexs.
Perhaps i should change that to mabagal yung minorty ng mga vans sa expressway so hindi dapat dun magtailgate?
If some vans were able to give say ford or perhaps a subaru a hard time passing, does that make the van quick?

yep same offense. 1st time i was tagged at 145kph (gauge says 150 kph). 2nd time i was already braking hard as i saw the patrol car parked after concepcion exit but was still tagged at 135 kph (gauge says 140 kph). i was leading a new honda accord who was foolish enough to tail me that early morning. huli kami pareho sa tarlac. panay turo sa aking ng ogag sinisisi ako hahaha!

bait na ko after that. sabi sa lto next huli ko suspended for 1 year eh.

must have his lost confidence with his accord, with the added violation as salt on the wound. i thought if they didnt tag your plate you can still get away with it. he must have done a lousy job tailgating lol. oh so they do count cumulative offenses. thanks for the info! drive safe

kita kasi siya. i swerved to the left lane before i hit the brakes kasi nga alam ko nakabuntot siya and he might not brake in time and hit my rear. so paglipat ko ng lane kita na plate nya nung naiwan siya sa right lane. and he did not brake, tuloy pa din siya ng 160 kph (our speed before i braked).

I would not say they are quick but they can go fast. If such vans are doing 150kmh, you need to go much faster to pass them. If you’re doing 150kmh or more, such a van will need to push harder to pass you.

True. They are fast, but not quick.

Medyo baliw siya ah. Tailgating at that speed is quite scary...

At that speed, it would be best to just slingshot past the car in front. Time your approach, match the speed of the car in front, then slingshot your car ahead. You can go faster (assuming you have the juice to go faster) since you encounter less air resistance.

Indeed. Thats why in my original statement that u rebutted: usually mabagal ang mga vans. I was referring to the majority of the vans (commuters, urvan) who comprise majority of the van population. Not the fewer GS that run past the limit. No need to make an argument that GS can go fast, because they were not my subject to begin with.

blancnoir sorry cant say i feel you. Clearly my post wasnt saying that cars in general arent fast because they cant travel at 150. That wasnt even kintos point whom i replied to.

    Shake and bake, baby!!!

It works better if you have a smaller car trailing a bigger one.
