Kaya from then, kahit gaano ako kabilis sa expressway basta may ganyan na overpass... slow down ako to 90-100kph. Then after, banat ulit.
Maybe he was reporting an earlier speeder so he wasn't ready to catch the next one.

Money at every click of the radar/laser speed gun.
Agree with you bro.,- and I am definitely a candidate for apprehension....

So they've gone stealth eh. No wonder i don't see any parked speed cars on the shoulder nowadays and yet, apprehensions continue at the toll gate and there are more speeders caught as compared to before it seems.

Last April or May coming home from Tagaytay, I couldn't recall exactly where I saw them, either upon entering the freeway just after the toll both or we were already in the freeway, but I noticed that there were 2 officers under a bridge and I saw that 1 officer was talking to the radio while the other was writing something. This made me think what in the world are they doing there. I suppose this is the answer to my question.

They probably weren't catching as many anymore, so they decided to change strategies.

Had a friend before. Along NLEX, he was travelling southbound going to Manila. Hataw siya. Though he had a feeling he got caught by the radar gun, so he stopped by Petron, put on a commemorative license plate in front and took the EZ Pass lane. True enough cops were out for him, but having a different plate and a relatively less unique car threw the LEOs off.

Er... how did he know he was on the NLEX cop's list?

^And the time spent to stop at the gas station, wait, and put on the plate just pretty much got rid of the good time made by driving at a high speed.

I guess he figured he was on the list if he was caught speeding with his pants down (going well over 120kph and he's the only car passing the radar at that time or he was well faster then the cars he was running along with).

So where do the gators usually hide? Just under the bridges and by the tollgates? Still no speed guns at night, right?

under the bridges, tollgates & sometimes on their unmarked white cars parked at the side [yes meron pa rin...]

just this month i have traveled to the province via slex back & forth for about 5-7x already and i haven't seen anyone getting caught by the cops yet although most of them [including me..] were overspeeding -- except for that particular l300fb that i think was caught overspeeding since he was apprehended right after he paid the toll
