September 2nd, 2014 03:24 PM #31If U-turn slots are properly implanted and those stupid singeteros are being busted all the time then traffic flow will be continuous...
Idagdag pa dyan yung mga naka motor, nakikita na ngang nagtuturn yung car sisingit pa sa kaliwang side...BUWISIT..!

Pinoys are the worst in roundabouts. You have to look in all directions when using them. Madami kasi diagonal kung tumira.

Ok sana u-turns but the reason they are such a hassle its because a lot of people don't know how to use them. They turn in too soon on the slot, forcing them to take up 2 lanes on the other side and that second lane is already in use by oncoming traffic. What then happens is that they wait for the oncoming traffic to give way, hence you got yourself a line waiting for you at the back. This promotes the singeteros.
What they should when doing a U-turn is to stay at the right most part of the outer lane. Start making your turn only when the rear wheel is parallel to the end of the curb, or 3/4s of the car has passed the U-turn slot. Turn to the left your steering wheel to the max. You'll end up using only 1 lane on the other side. And since that 1 lane is blocked off with barriers, its should be free flowing and no oncoming traffic for you to stop for.

Everytime i pass that, minumura ko si BF. :D
Two days and the traffic in the evening going home seems to be flowing better when i look at the time it takes me. However, i did notice on the opposite (southbound) lane that the build-up of cars going turning to Eastwood seem to back up.
I agree. travelling by train is always the fastest way to travel. kami din dati sa Bangkok, we...
