Its pretty difficult to find a second hand fortuner with a mileage of below 50t. It seems that first owners really enjoy using their fortuners.

Good Am guys.. I have been planning of getting the Fortuner 2.7 vvti... Question ko lang po is sa reliability ng unit specially sa mga gas owners po natin,, FC is no problem po sakin. Ano po kaya ang mga initial or common problems sa gas fortuner? wala ba major problems ang gas fortuner? TIA po mga sirs..

2006 owner here. No problems at all. Follow the regular maintenance schedule to prevent any problems.

sir.. wala pang tumatalo sa tibay ng toyota gas engine IMHO.. kung walang issue sa FC go for the vvti..

How about sa cabin noise while driving along concrete & asphalt? my friends Monty 2010 gls-V has a very bad NVH.( no offense sa Monty peeps) maingay sa loob, rinig mo yung kalsada at yung engine at napaka bigat ng handling IMO...

sir fort gas and monty owner here since 2006 we have no problem with our fort as number001 said just follow the regular maintenance yu will have no problem with it. as for the NVH levels fort win every time.. especially with space, comfortable seats and easier in and out sa 2nd row.. hindi lang kame makapag hintay sa fort kasi walang unit kaya kame nag monty GLS-V.. but fort wins for me anytime.. kahit sa long distance drives mas masarap parin ang FORT!

Sir, yung Fort gas ba ilan na top speed mo sa kanya? di ba mataas RPM nya or maingay na makina at high speed na?? During overtake ba quick response naman yung power nya? i mean meron ba yung notion na " power when you need it", i drive a navara 4x4 a/t and i can say yung power nya is very okay.. i dont intend to race the Fort, but power must be there when i need it... TIA

Sir ang maganda sa fort gas smooth ang power delivery hindi ka bibiglain ng power at sa overtaking hindi ka mabibitin dahil mabilis ang acceleration sakto sa knya yung notion na power when you need it.. Ang top speed ko sa knya 180kph sa skyway.. Walang hirap at walang problemang binigay samin sir..

I finally saw a second hand fortuner 2006 vvti with a mileage of only 28t. Can you guys suggest a checklist of items to check to ensure that the car is ok? It says that last PMS was last december *25t km. TIA.

Opinion niyo lang guys, what would u prefer? A 2006 model with a mileage of say30t km or a 2009 model with a milaeage of around 60 t km? Sabihin na natin same na well maintained.
