Ganun po ba, so timing chain na ung vvti fort, how about diesel variants po the 2.5 and 3.0 variants are they timing chain also? So less maintenance talaga kasi palit nang palit nang timing belt..

sa innova nakalagay sa owners manual every 150k kms ang palit ng timing belt, so probably sa fortuner ganun din yun. pero kadalasan 100k kms pinapalitan na or 110k kms. so di din ganun palit ng palit. long lasting naman siya

this is very subjective pero based on my experience as i have driven the first gen fortuner and i am a current owner of the 2012 fortuner, nag improve naman kahit papaano. at the end of the day, it still an suv and do not expect car like ride comfort not unless siguro for high end suvs like lc's,rovers.

bagong kuha lang namin kanina our new fortuner sa toyota marikina, pag alis ko sa toyota marikina grabe tagtag ng fortuner, napaisip ako akala ko ba may improvement na suspension, pag dating ko sa bahay tatawag na sana ako sa casa, pero naisip ko na check ko muna tire pressure kasi napansin ko masyado tayo ang gulong, at bingo!! 50psi lahat ng gulong, check ko agad manual, 30psi lang pala required, after mabawasn ko tire pressure from 50 to 30psi, swabe na sa ride at malaki talaga improvement ng suspension, pero tumawag pa rin ako sa casa just to report that incident

swabe talaga sir? rate mo nga sir riding comfort ng 1 - 10, 10 pinakamataas.

anu fort mo sir, 2.5 D4D na G ba? anu color? congrats sir.

naku toyota marikina, sister of toyota cubao. i have read some post in the fortuner club philippines site na other G D4D units dosen't come up with a D4D emblem in the rear door unlike the others. i was in toyota cubao last thursday and saw the fortuners in the releasing area w/o D4D emblems. i wonder why others has. some said that G units in TQA have D4D emblems. i wonder why the units in cubao dosen't have it. so maybe your unit doesn't have the D4D emblem sir because cubao and marikina are sisters, unless it is a 3.0?

Sir you might have underinflated your tires. The 30psi is for a cold tire (e.g. in the morning when you haven't used your vehicle yet). Tires driven over 3kms on a hot weather should read 3-5psi more (unless nitrogen and ginamit of course). Check again in the morning.

Congrats on your new ride sir!
