got the unit already last friday sir shembot, so far so good naman po. the SA attended as that well, explained everything plus attendance to the video room for some general information on the unit.

In comparison:

Starex (old and current gen) - TCI -100HP 2.5L diesel engine; "Old CRDi" of old gen - 140HP+ 2.5L diesel engine; Current gen VGT - 170HP+ 2.5L diesel engine....

Not for the G model. Its an add on feature if you want. There's one tsikot member here who sells that gps module at a decent price. You might want to pm him for details.

The brochures said "GPS Ready". For the Monty GLX that mean only inserting the SD card. I thought it had the same meaning for the Fort G.

Generally, you get lower value in a trade-in since they also need to earn from selling your unit. Advantage is you can quickly dispose your precious vehicle and translate it to cash.
It would be better if you directly sell it to a buyer since you can get a possibly higher price. Tradeoff is that it may take a longer period before you can find a willing buyer. Meet-ups and test drive with a potential buyer entails not only monetary costs but may also consume a lot of your precious time.
* Selling to a relative is no good either, bukod sa tatagain ka sa presyo, installment na nga bayad at minsan late pa. Syempre dahil kamag-anak, mas mahirap maningil.

at 100kph parang 12km/l yata if i remember correctly.

city driving (manila-makati) is 6.5km/l. btw yung 3.0 is 4wd (no 2H) also kaya malakas sa diesel.
