i suggest you go the fort.. hindi ko pa nattry madrive ang monty, sabi nila ok daw.. pero i owned a fort at satisfied naman ako sa performance niya. madali lang makaovertake ng ibang sasakyan..ok din ang handling nya kaya kahit magpazigzag ka sa q.ave, edsa, slex o nlex walang problema..medyo matagtag nga compare sa innova pero ok pa din naman.. mas ok ang exterior ng fort kaysa sa monty, mas maangas tignan (mas ok sa mga chicks..)
walang aircon vent sa 2nd row seat ang monty, sa 3rd row meron pero sa gilid lang, unlike fort meron sa 2nd and 3rd.. and as was mentioned, wag kang magkakalat sa fort kasi mahirap linisin ang beige!!!

If you compare the lowest-end automatic transmission Fortuner with the lowest end automatic transmission Montero Sport, you will notice that the Fortuner has a better over-all package. For one, the Fortuner has auto climate control while the Montero Sport has the manual-rotary controls. For the Fortuner, the only difference between the top-end and the lowest-end are th engine and transmission, all the rest are the same. So you do not feel short-changed even if you just get the Fortuner 2.7 VVTi. However, for the Monetro Sport, aside from the engine and transmission, there are other differences in the interior specifications.
Don't forget the Leather seats for the Fortuner, all of them have it.
hey guys, i went to Toyota Bicutan yesterday and asked for a computation for Fort VVTi..they gave me this package..total cashout is 498K my monthly for 5 years would be 23k..is this a good package? can you recommend me some dealers with big discounts, good deals..thank you..
Sir, I think thats a rip-off by the bank/SA. Its too high if you ask me considering the total cost would be around 1.9M already 500K down + 1.4M (23K X 60). I suggest try to increase your down if possible. Just to share I bought my 2nd car an Altis G AT down is 50% with 2 years for the balance my total interest for 2 years is only 75K so basically its only roughly 38K a year while sa inyo po is 100K per year. Another thing dont let the SA think that you are dead set in buying the unit. As a buyer sila dapat ang mag adjust sa gusto mo. When I deal last time with the SA I was able to bring down my monthly amortisation to about 2K a month imagine if nagpadala ako sa sales talk nila thats a savings of 48K for 2 years. Goodluck in finding a better deal po.
sige po ill try east west..ill inquire na lang..guys, siguro sagad na po yung 500k na pangdown ko. dami po kasi gastos eh..hindi ko po kaya ang 50% DP eh...kaya ginawa ko na rin 5 years..
If 500,000 will be your total cashout, I would presume the following:
SRP of Fortuner Gas: 1,414,000
- Percentage of downpayment = 30%, therefore: 424,200
- Insurance w/AOG should be around 35,000 (Possibly cheaper)
- LTO is fixed at 9,700
- Chattel is around 30,000 (Cheaper if loaned straight from bank I think)
- Add that all together gives you: 498,900
From my experience, 30% is the minimum DP banks would accept on a 5-year basis for cars around the price range of the Fortuner. That's why if credit maybe a problem, it's often better to deal straight with an SA coz they can pull a few strings for you. Other than that, for the cheapest deal head to your local bank. HTH!
good day yung fortuner 2.5g m/t wala po ba syang airbag? yung seats po nya leather na din po?
tanong ko na din po kung ok yung deal na nakuha ko from metrocar loan.
UNIT Fortuner 2.5G M/T
SRP: 1,349,000
DOWNPAYMENT: 749,000
AMOUNT TO BE FINANCE FOR 5 YRS (60 MOS): 600,000
600000 * 28.48% FOR 5 YRS = 770880 / 60 = 12,848 Monthly.
ok na po ba ito?
