Kulang Lang sa lubrication Ang cv joint kaya may tik tik sound... Hindi naman agad agad nasisira yun... At Pinapalitan ng boot yun sir... Then nilalagyan ng high pressure grease...

️Sir Check mo muna kung biyak na Ang axle boot... If yes.. Maaring ayan na po cause ng tik tik sound...

Mukang tinamaan ang CV joint as previously mentioned. May bearing na nabasag kaya may tunog na ganon. Bring the car to your mechanic to isolate the problem at baka may iba ding part ang nasira.

Pero it is still best na ma check ng mabuti

Visually inspect the coolant level sa reservoir, top up/refill na lang with Toyota Long Life Coolant (yan ang factory coolant nya) kung kailangan. If you use water, mada-dilute lang yung factory fluid at baka ma-lessen ang effectivity nito. And under no circumstance should you use tap water from the faucet.

Di ganun ka-mahal ang isang bote ng Long Life Coolant. Mas mahal magpa-cleaning ng radiator. If your system has no leaks it should last you a long time. Yung bote ko more than two years old na wala pa sa 3/4 ang nagamit.

    Hello everyone,

I'm relatively new to the forum & want to say first and foremost hello. I have a 2016 Vios and have a lot of questions on my mind right now so I thought I'd start out here with just two questions.

    1. Those of you who have 17" TRD Rims, is it worth the money? or would it be better to get Aftermarket rims (Rota, Rays, BBS, Enkei, Vossen) I'm kind of against the wall making this decision.
    2. Is there an existing physical group around Baguio city consisting of only Vios owners? I'd like to join if you would have me.

    Thanks.

    Hi guys,

Newbie here. just want to ask with regards to the "kalampag" issues posted here.

My unit had this, i had brought back the unit for several times now (6 times to be exact.) but the CASA has not been able to fix it.

Now they just called and said that they did Insulation to resolve the issue.
Is this good or will the issue come back? and also if insulation is done i just wont be able to hear any noise from the cabin right? but still the "kalampag" is still there?

Insulation simply means muffling the sound and making it inaudible, the "kalampag" is still there. Personally I do not approve of this as the problem may get worse over time and the driver/owner has no idea that an impending breakdown is about to happen.

I suggest bringing your car to another casa and have them take a test drive with you in order to maximize the chances of pinpointing the source of the unwanted sound.
