Yun naman sa baha mag stall yan kapag nakahigop ng tubig, possible kung hangang hood yung wave posibleng pasukin kung hindi na stock yung gamit mo, tingin ko ganun lang talaga kasimple yung modification sa diesel revo, unlike sa gasoline engine madami. as long as you can beat tha crosswind at adventure ( huwag lang innova) ok na yan yung diesel engine ng revo pangkargahan talaga, mas ok pa nga tumakbo kapag loaded ang sakay.
Yikes~ AFAIK, yung air filter ko has been there since time immemorial, And the last time it was cleaned was around half a year ago.

Hopefully, that will change.

Once ginamit ko to transporting seven people along with airport luggage to NAIA 3. Dun sa accelerator pedal, halata ko lang napakakonti ng pedal travel niya, and I find myself flooring it a lot.

May malaking groove na nga sa flooring as testament to all the flooring this car has undergone.

I let the mechanics do all the work. So I can just go to any skilled mechanic and ask them to lubricate the accelerator cable at iadjust ng walang free play? What lubricant is used, by the way? I may consider visiting my mechanic when I have time.

pag fully loaded po tapos paakyat, don't floor the pedal kasi mas lalo sya babagal, stay at around 2800rpm po

replace po ninyo fuel filter every 20T kms, at airfilter every 40T kms

and.. baka po nag slip na clutch disk nyo kaya mabagal, from full stop, lagay po ninyo sa 4th gear then release the clutch, pag hindi namatay makina..most likely eh sa clutch na po

Any auto mechanic can do that, madali lang naman yun bro, Motor oil or grease pwede naman, huwag lang WD40, mabilis matuyo, just observe the clearance of the pedal and the RPM kung nagreresponse agad, It is one of the steps para maimprove din yung acceleration ng revo mo, kailangan pa din as much as possible frequent din ang pag change mo ng fuel filter.

Haha! Ako 86000kms di pa nagpapalit... I have replaced my clutch not so long ago noong nasa around 80000kms, oil filter and injector nozzles noong around 84000kms, timing belt and tensioner bearings at around 85000kms.

Haha~ How much sa tingin mo aabutin for changing the tranny and differential oil?

Mas madali naman kesa change engine oil, pwede na siguro 150-250 lang yun I'm not sure kung 2ltr lang parehas tranny at differential

Just got the Revo fixed today. I had the differential oil changed, it was it was starting to solidify and was black as pitch! Then I replaced the air filter and accelerator cable. There was tremendous improvement in terms of the noise, there was no more ugong at lower rpms and the rpm shoots up quickly without having to floor the pedal a lot. Changing all these also resulted to better acceleration. I paid just 1800 petot for this. Thanks guys!

    Good Day!

Am newbie in this thread. I have a Revo VX200 purchased brand new 2004. My problem is regarding its rack and pinion. May play ang one side the rack. I had it checked at sabi baka may tama ang rubber bushing sa loob ng metal tube ng rack. (i already changed shock, ball joints, rack end... all orig). Ang suggestion nila was... since wala pang leak gamitin ko lang muna until such time na mag leak. My apprehension ngayon is baka kumalat ang problema at matamaan ang steering wheel column. Naaayos ba talaga ang rack and pinion or dapat bumili ng bago? 85k ang price ng Toyota Davao ng rack and pinion assembly (this includes the rack end na napalitan ko rin just last year). anong magandang gawin nito?

    suggestions please. thanks.
