For your info..this might help. GOOD VISION IN A DOWNPOUR How to achieve good vision while driving during a heavy downpour. We are not sure why it is so effective; just try this method when it rains heavily. This method was told by a Police friend who had experienced and confirmed it. It is useful...even driving at night. Most of the motorists would turn on HIGH or FASTEST SPEED of the wipers during heavy downpour, yet the visibility in front of the windshield is still bad...... In the event you face such a situation, just try your SUN GLASSES (any model will do), and miracle! All of a sudden, your visibility in front of your windshield is perfectly clear, as if there is no rain. Make sure you always have a pair of SUN GLASSES in your car, as you are not only helping yourself to drive safely with good vision, but also might save your friend's life by giving him this idea.. Try it yourself and share it with your friends! Amazing you still see the drops on the windshield, but not the sheet of rain falling. You can see where the rain bounces off the road. It works to eliminate the "blindness" from passing semi's spraying you too. Or the "kickup" if you are following a semi or car in the rain. They ought to teach that little tip in driver's training.. It really does work. This warning is a good one! I wonder how many people know about this ~

Thanks for sharing. I will try it.

Kinancel ko na yung P.O. from Bicutan and transfered to Alabang since sila ang may unit. Bad trip lang talaga sa Bicutan eh sobrang bagal as in. Thanks guys.....

Now if your advisor tells you to use Oil additive then it will add up to the amount oil in your engine and then you'll see in your bill that it uses 6 liters oil plus half a liter oil additive, gee that would sum up to 6.5 liters and your engine should be chocking on too much oil by then. But reality, when you check your oil dip stick it is on normal level......so where does the 1 liter oil goes :juggle:

Subok ko na sa VVTi na 5.5 liters lang talaga kahit sa SpeedyFix ng magpakarga ako ng Fully Synthetic, ganoon din sa Shell at Caltex at Petron lahat sila 5.5 liters lang talaga.
At 5.5 liters, what level is the oil on your dipstick? Is it right next to the upper line?

For my 2.7li vvt-i Fort, I put in 5 liters and the oil is already way past the upper indicator. I checked it when the engine is cold, when it was warmed up, and after using the vehicle. All almost have the same indicator of oil on the dipstick.

Which makes me wonder that maybe the TR-FE series could really accommodate less 5 liters of oil. I mean do dipsticks lie?

Before it was hard to overtake with 6 lit of 20W-40 Toyota mineral. After a recent oil change to Honda mineral 10W-30 and only 5 lit of oil, the vehicle feels more responsive.

Don't be blinded by their good offers coz most probably wala silang maibibigay sayong unit. You can try sir sa Alabang look for Beth Ramos or sa Manila Bay look for Natazha or sa Pasig and look for Ryan Chua.

Have you checked the Fort's owner's manual for oil capacity? With Innova's owner's manual it says the 5.6 liters with Filter.

Yes the upper line, so you are using now Honda's 10w30....I have to try this on my next oil change next month

Manual says 5.6 liters. Casa used to cram all 6 liters into the engine.

I believe 5 liters is enough bec. oil level exceeds the upper dot (indicator as if I have 6 liters in there).

I don't know if its psychological or I put less oil into the engine, but to me its more responsive.

Honda Mineral oil (10W-30) is available at all Honda Casas for Php 180/liter. I believe it is even cheaper than Toyota's mineral oil. Honda's is supposedly by Idemitsu from Singapore, while I believe Toyota's is from Chevron/Caltex.

I assume it really runs well on 10w30 grade oil, before I use RP oil rated 10w30 and the engine is more quiet and responsive. Got to really try now Honda's mineral oil enough of Chevron oil.

Innova owners, any idea what kind of aircon is used for the current E and J variants? I read from this thread that for the pre facelift model (2005-2008), G and up variant had NippoDenso, while the lower variants had Sanden. Can any owner confirm this?

Try mo muna sa area under the seats para kung magmantsa man eh tago. Before trying this though, try rubbing the remaining bubble gum with ice. It should make the gum loose its stickiness and be easily removed.

    Try to use GOO Gone.

Kaya pinagtyagaan ko lagyan ng full plastic cover yung carpet ko from front to rear. I used yung makapal na plastic cover. No more vacuum needed. punas punas nalang ng damp cloth.
