hahaha nakakarelate ako sayo Sir. Di bale po we are just defensive drivers at hindi naman racers. No need to accelerate more. It saves our gas and brake pads.

My spirited driving gets me 6.5 km/l :D

Pag di naman nagmamadali is 7.5km/l-8km/l.

Injectors and Supply pumps failure are usually caused by dirty diesels (so they say)

    Costs to replace these today

    Injectors costs 25thou each!
    Supply Pump costs around 50k.

    Mag Gas na lang ako!

Kung hindi nyo po mamasamain Sir Louie.. I advise po na just choose the Innova G VVTi kasi tingin ko mas practical ito. Its your choice whether AT or MT and what color. Kung may malaking budget ka lang din naman for the V model why not get an SUV. Tingin ko mayaman ka naman.. hehehe May neighbor kasi kami na owner ng innova V at may isa pa rin na owner ng innova G.. wala naman superior distinction between the two na napansin ako.. aww except the badge.

    Re to your questions:
And also do you think guys malaki difference nila sa miantenance cost? We are planning kasi to use the Innova for more than 5 years. --Mas less po ang maintenance ng gas variant compare to the diesel variant considering the need of oil during pms and also diesel engine tends to get physically dirty. Aside from this is the worry of D4D engine to bog down anytime during 5 years of your ownership and the costs of repair.

Reliable ba ang VVTi engine pangmatagalan? --IMHO for sure po very reliable because the badge of Toyota is known for this (speaking of gas variant) which were testified by corollas, revos, etc.

Fuel Consumption: 9 passengers daily, 80Kms daily. Mixed City driving but with heavy traffic on EDSA and Commonwealth.

Pure Unleaded for one week (LPG disabled): 8-10 Kms per liter
LPG mode with Gasoline 30 secs every 5 mins. for one week: 7-9 Kms per liter

P40K sa GreenFuel, SGI Kit with ECU and donut tank fitted under at the spare tire location. Walang binutas sa body at pulido installation. Yung P40K ko nabawi ko sa gasoline savings in 10 months kasi 80Kms per day ako, so by now malaki-laki na rin ang savings ko sa fuel expenses, probably by today nasa 300% ROI na ko sa LPG kit.

    Hi Miles2,
So that means yung spare tire mo ay inalis na kapalit nitong lpg tank? At least mas safe yan.

Meron left and right sa 3rd row seat air recirculate duct. nasa right side ang rear condenser.

Hi. I own an innova E diesel automatic which i got last april 2010. I usually fill up with shell diesel ultra. Last saturday i tried the new shell v power diesel on my unit. Almost empty na when i filled up with the v power diesel.

After driving 20 km the fuel warning light flashed and the warning beep sounded.

Checked the fuel and wala namang water and contaminants.

Has anybody encountered the same problem?

Sir, ano na ang ODO reading mo?

Usually pag D4d advisable na change fuel filter every 5K Kms or every PMS.

decided to stick it out with Toyota Bicutan... kasi their Liason Officer was able to reserved the plate number i requested.... I told my agent to get me a bronze by Friday.. if bronze is still not available, i requested for Black... bottomline is they should give me a unit by friday.... it has been more than a month now.. :D

Mileage is largely dependent on acceleration... kaya mas mataas mileage sa highway (constant speed).

What the *#$%? First time mong gumamit nung bagong V-Power Diesel eh nagactivate ang fuel warning light mo?

Try mo ibleed nang husto yung fuel system using the fuel priming pump.

Hindi naman nasagad ang tank ko because i went to the station immediately after the low fuel warning lit up. Di ba may allowance pang about 5-10 liters if the low fuel warning lights up?

Anyway as instructed in the owner's manual i bled the fuel system and nawala immediately ang warning. But after another 25 km or so of driving nag light up na naman ang fuel warning. Will take my unit to toyota this friday pa kasi fully booked ang appointment list nila. Good thing i still have my old car kaya may service pa rin ako.
