Speaking of gasoline, mas matagal bang maubos yung higher variants such as Blaze, etc.. kesa sa ordinary unleaded? ever since kasi nilagyan na ng ethanol yung unleaded, ang bilis na maubos.

All gasoline products in RP are supposed to be ethanol blended by now.
Since ethanol has a lower boiling point, it evaporates faster.

Also, all gasoline products here now are lead-free.
Therefore, they are all "unleaded".

The law bans the use of lead-based additives because of its effect on health (it lowers mental ability)

What 'octane rating' to use?

As a rule, higher octane fuel is not always what your car needs.

Using a fuel with higher octane rating than what the engine needs or requires to prevent knocking is just a waste of money (higher octane more expensive).

Also, there are two types of octane numbers:

1. motor octane number (MON) and
2. Research Octane Number (RON)

MON is measure with engine at high RPM (~900) while RON is measured
at lower RPM.

MON is a better measure of fuel performance and is lower than RON.

I think our gas stations post RON ie. 95 RON is ot really 95 but lower etc.


If you have a new vehicle, follow what the manual says. When you drive, observe engine performance (knocking, power).

Fuel character shows up especially when under heavy loads. Watch for knocking (takatakatakatak sound).

If you hear that, try the next higher octane product. Observe again. repeat the process until you find the product that will not cause knocking.

We will be getting our Innova V bronze this week. I heard that Goldrich in Banawe has good accessories and service. Ano kaya magandang unahin na upgrade, side skirts or mags? Ano po kayang size ng mags and tires and maganda to further improve yung ride quality? And around how much estimated cost? And also what kind of tint would you suggest na effective for heat rejection at hindi masyado makikita yung loob. We are very excited na to get our Innova... Thank you very much

Tint: The kind that REFLECTS light the most is best. A mirror-like surface.

Overdrive ussually is just a downshift, so downshifting to 3 should do the trick. The D4d engine is powerful enough though and you may not need this anymore. What's ECT?

If I may respectfully rectify this one:

OVERDRIVE is not downshifting. It's the opposite.

It's there for fuel savings, more speed but less torque.
It is for high speed cruising ...which does not require much torque just to sustain momentum.

And by the way, ethanol has lower energy content than gasoline.
So we use more fuel to travel same distance now.

bro, pag mags lng usapan ung 17" or 18" pwd pro pag loaded nang passengers yung innova mu "17 ok na..pag 18" medyo mahihirapan na..basta 5holes pcd 114..

tska bagay sa innova ung 5 spokes lng.

mga master good day! patulong sa mga vvt-i masters, kukuha kami ng G-variant gas A/T. ano kaya ang fuel consumption niya? sabi kasi ng pinsan at uncle ko malakas sa konsumo mga 4-5 km/L city driving. highway consumption hindi nila alam.

PS: meron kami honda odyssey, FC nya 5 km/L. malakas.. isip ko lang kung same consumption nila? advance salamat sa mga kasagutan.

First check your tire's wear indicator, as shown in the image below.



When your tread is leveled with these indicators, then it is time to change them.

4-5 Km/li can easily be attained if they always leave the aircon on while parked or "waiting", stuck in standstill traffic for hours on end, traverse routes with crawling speed (>5km/li). Medyo exaj ata yan.

5.9 to 6 km/li is what I get with a Fortuner 2.7 li a/t. 95% city driving.

Sir congrats sa new ride ninyo kakainggit naman.
Kami, we are very disappointed sa Toyota Bicutan because our SA promised to give us an Innova V D4D bronze until end of July but up until now wala na yung promise nya he doesn't even know kung mabibigyan sila ng Planta ng unit, hindi rin nya alam kung may stock ang planta. 1 week na kaming naghihintay. Ang labo nga eh, ang pagkakaalam ko their dealership is company owned... Complete bank P.O. and downpayment na kami. Lesson learned na wag maniniwala sa sinasabi at promise ng SA at wag mag down agad... Sadly wala tuloy kaming sasakyan ngayon still waiting without assurance.

Hi fellow innova owners. Attached here are pictures to disassemble back panel cover for us to be able to clean blower fan and the evaporator coil of the back AC Unit. A lot simpler compared to the Dashboard Removal previously posted by Ginnova (thanks for that procedure sir)...Do this at your own risk....

hi po, noob na innova g m/t user bagong unit lang last july po nakuha...may 2 katanungan po ako:

1. anu po yung tumutulo na tubig sa tabi ng tambutso, sinilip ko may aluminum tubings, sa aircon pa rin ba yun.di nasagot ng SA ko nung tinanung ko before ko idrive sabi sa pag ka carwash daw...

2. on my 300km ODO parang may kumalabog na parang may bumangga o may bumato ng santol drving then * 30kph papaliko na kc pero di na-stall engine.

* 500km ODO this day I was negotiating an unleveled paved road to go up then suddenly ayun "may kumalabog uli" *crawling pace around 2-5kph but this time the engine stall KAKATAKOT... then when im backing para igarahe ayun uli may kumalabog sa gawing makina at transmission pero di naman namatay makina.

cenxa na medjo mahaba...anu po kaya iyun?
