The Fort 2.4L will have more pull at low rpms but at higher rpms, the Innova 2.8L will outpace it. That is if both vehicles weigh the same. If the Innova is lighter, it will scoot past the Fort on a straight line assuming both drivers push their rides to redline.

The new Fort 2.4 will have a hard time pacing up to an old Camry 4-banger with just around 170hp. Maybe an Altis 1.6L with just 120hp will even be a bit quicker and faster.

The new Innova with its new 2.8L turbo diesel is a good deal of sorts. You get around the same engine output as the more expensive Fort 2.8L but you have more space and a lighter frame for something like 500k less. That is if you can get past the minivan looks of the Innova.

Yep, the new Innova uses the same 2.8L turbo diesel engine as the Fort 2.8L 4x4 but tuned for a bit lower power/torque output (Innova - 171hp/360Nm, Fort - 174hp/450Nm). However, the Innova's engine has a wider rpm range for its peak torque (Innova - 360Nm * 1200-3400 rpm vs Fort - 450Nm * 1600-2400 rpm). With the Innova weighing less (RWD only), you get one punchy minivan.

You should take a look at the previous generation Odyssey. It packs a 3.5L V6 VTEC engine rated at 248hp/340Nm. Think of it like an Accord V6 or Pilot V6 in soccer mom getup.

Question po. I just bought an Innova touring sport 3 weeks ago. I am planning to have it installed a dash cam which i bought from lazada. Mavoivoid ba ang warranty pag tinap sa reverse light ung back cam? Tsaka ang kasama pang charge nya is hard wiring kit na itatap sa fuse box. Will it also void yung warranty?

Warranty will not be voided outright. If you will have problems that the casa can relate to your installation of non- toyota supplied accessories, then they may void the claim for such. If it’s me, I will not risk it if I’m unsure on the integrity of the aftermarket install. I changed my Innova’s Stereo Head unit outside the casa during the warranty period because I was sure there will be no issues with it. If you’re unsure, better be safe.

Good to know. Hindi naman ako particular sa pogi points. I am after the service, realibility and value for money na maibibigay ng sasakyan. Family convenience over pogi points.

Pero antayin ko na yung 2019 model kse parang may facelift na lalabas baka mas pogi ng konti sa existing model. Hehehe..
