Has anyone installed 'race chip' to their innova d4-d? If yes, totoo ba na parang vvti na rin takbo ng innova if you install one and does it saves on fuel?
Kapag inalis paps yung delay, wala na savings on fuel, I think ang reason gn delay is para magcalculate yung ECU ng proper air and fuel mixture.

Wala ba yung sainyo sir?
may mga feedback sa ibang forum chip mods like racechip, dts etc, eventually after 100km+ the oem ecu will adjust to its orig parameters and driving habits.
but the acceleration and fuel savings coming from from a hilux driver using dts theres an improvement that is not hard to notice.
idk, if it will revert to oem ecu after 100km+.
What to you mean sir the ecu will adjust to its orig parameters? The truth is, yung ecu is always on its orig parameters, di naman sya nireprogram ng racechip, more on piggyback or by pass ginawa ng racechip.
Chances are ang nangyayari, kung totoo man ang claim na after 100km there is a reset, yung racechip ay may watchdog timer for the mileage kasi nababasa nya naman yan from the ecu yung mileage, then kapag na-reach nya yung certain mileage, automatic mag stop na sya from working then the ecu now will do its normal routine without the racechip intervention.
Pwede nating masabi na marketing strategy yan ng manufacturer, everything today is designed for the dump anyway.
what i mean is after 100km+ as stated from other forum the piggyback chip installed, the oem ecu will learn that piggyback chip is altering the sensor and fooling the ecu, then ecu will re-adjust from that condition to what ecu doing before the chip is installed, voiding what is piggyback is doing to the ecu. They're solution is resetting ecu by disconnecting battery for some cars. I'm just relaying what i read that may help for those who want to chip their innova the potential cons. As one hilux driver as i posted earlier it works for him.
