Salamat
    Malaki ang QC

Pero kung malapit ka sa Fairview, I would recommend Caltex Fairview besides McDo and opposite corner of Fairview Center Mall. Dito ako nagpapalit ng transmission clutch lining (labor P1,200) at pati 40K PMS na drain lahat ng fluids (if I remember right P8K including fluids). Magaling yung mga mekaniko nila at yung receptionist old lady na maasikaso.

And besides most of Toyota lubricants are Chevron kaya match sila ng Caltex Chevron, pati yung red coolant ng Toyota is exact match sa red coolant ng Caltex.

Nagpapalit na ko some 2 years back which is insurance paid.

Most common is that price estimate on paint shops are free.

Where can I buy (if meron) ng 2011 Innova Grill Chrome Cover & how much? I asked Genevieve Banawe if meron, but wala daw release na ganun.

I, too am waiting for the original... If you want the aftermarket foglamps, they already have it at Gold Cars, Banawe, Karplus and Autoline.

Trying looking at sulit.com... A number of members in Roadguide.ph are using the 255w, but there are the newers models now like the Nuvi 30,50 series that can be had for less than 10K... Regardless naman of what garmin model you choose, it will definitely work here in the Philippines.

About two weeks ago while driving along NLEX northbound, a rock flew from the direction of a 10-wheeler truck ahead of me on the adjacent lane. I saw the spinning rock hit the asphalt ahead, bounced even higher than its initial position, and landed with a sickening sound on my hood on its way down, bounced again, hit the base of left the wiper before going over my roof. Luckily for me, it missed the windshield.

I think it's a rock that was stuck between the rear tires of the truck. It came "unstuck" at speed and since there was no mudguard(!) to stop it, the rock merrily flew and hit my car. The incident stripped a bit of the chrome garnish of the hood and bared what I think is the metal of the hood itself.

Touch up paint to the rescue!

    Moral of the story=):

I knew beforehand about this danger when you're behind a truck with gaping space between its tires, just inviting a solid object to get stuck and unstuck. The incident happened before I could get out of the way. I had the mind to slow down, not swerving right or left on the expressway but the squarish rock's timing was impeccable (the rock looked like it had corners).

i assume vvti yung sayo at hndi d4d kasi wala kang underhood cover.disappointment ko yan nung una ko naku innova ko.
to answer your question,it won't affect your engine if you don't have it. without it though, your underhood paint could fade quicker and of course mas madali dumumi especially if white pearl kotse mo like mine.

underhood cover is about 10k sa casa.and you wont be able to find an oem in accessories shops.

i bought mine, oem to ha, exactly the same sa casa at just 3k from a fellow tsikoteer who sells toyota underhoods.
i forget his username but i got several posts about this and info in the "innova accessories" thread. go search for it na lang

How is the quality of the Wood Panel & Carbon Fiber Panel being sold online? Is it a good buy? Is the CF Panel just a sticker?
