magandang umaga po mga bosing... tanong lang po... roughly po... magkano na lang po kaya ang innova G 2005 matic? lets say po na nasa aroung 90,000 na ang mileage? then stock po ang lahat.. no additional accessories?

Im planning to purchase an innova but looking at the thread, i see innova has more problems encountered by the buyers...even brand new ones, 1 year old units ay may mga problema agad. d4d engines medyo alanganin pa sa history etc...etc... fc majority 7-8km/liter (medyo may kasibaan ito). head room mababa lalo sa likod, space masikip daw, etc...etc..

The only advantage i see is the speed and power compared sa other AUVs or SUVs. My aunt owns an new innova before but they sold it and replaced it with adventure, masiba daw kasi lalo sa city driving.

Can somebody help me decide on this one? I hope you can posts some key advantages where it can help me decide to go for this car. Thanks mga ka-tsikot...

Owned 2008 Innova G Gas MT, sold it via trade in during recent Caravan at the global city. Got a D4D A/T G model, Here are my observations re 2012 model

1. Fit and finish is less than exemplary compared to the 2008 ( pre facelift model ) - paintwork( mas makintab ung dati ), body ( mas malambot ung bago - notice the dents even with ordinary opening/closing of doors seen tangentially ). Ung rubber sa door windows umaangat ( even sa mga units sa showroom, ganun din problem )
2. Big improvement in the interior department - more of grey than beige
3. Audio system is a big improvement - meron na aux and usb with steering control, missed on bluetooth
4. Engine - malakas nga D4D especially the A/T - 260 torque, ang bilis mag accelerate compared sa gas. Maingay nga engine pag sa labas, but inside, the NVH is impressive, at cruising speed of 80 - 100kph,you can hardly hear any noise. The A/T of toyota is really smooth and responsive ( even a bit better compared with my City 1.5E )
5. Aircon - full climate control - mas malamig aircon
6. Suspension/Handling- same as always, ala kalampag, langitngit anywhere

Hirap daw ibenta gas mt na innova, nagustuhan lang talaga ung unit dahil very fresh and 32th kms lang. The SA was able to pile up the discounts from different promos and came up with 1.080M inclusive of compre insurance and LTO ( orig. price is 1.165 )

Actually nag request na ako dati pa nung before ako kumuha. kaso wala pa daw dumating na ganung klase (full brochure) puro single page lang. untill now wala parin daw. ang iniisip ko kasi baka sa dealer lang na yun wala brochure. sa iba meron hehehe

heavy traffic should be 6-7km/li.

kahit heavy traffic pa yan, it shouldn't be. heavy traffic ko 9.5km/L, M/T saken. sa matic 8km/L yan. di aabot ng 6km/L yun. sobrang napaka traffic na yun sa ganun na napaka tagal idle lang.

lahat naman siguro ng sasakyan pwede magkaron ng ganyang fuel consumption sa isang araw na matraffic talaga, pero 6-7km/L shouldn't be the average right? AVERAGE is yung kadalasang konsumo nung sasakyan, average nga eh. kung sasabihin mong 6-7km/L sa heavy traffic lang, average ba yun?

6-7km/li cguro city driving ito. sa akin monumento-makati (city driving) is 7.7km/liter (innova E Gas). napaabot ko ng 11.5 km/liter nung from monumento to subic (may roof rack ako)...

malamang sa highway driving yang 10-14 na nabasa mo...or mixed city/highway driving.

eto nga 7.7km/L gas eh, tapos sasabihin mo average ng A/T diesel innova 6-7km/L lang? AVERAGE ha?! oh c'mon dude!

Anybody noticed/experienced this?

Changed the front tyre pressures to 38psi and will be observing....

saken kase bro 33psi din all tires ko pero diesel saken.

normally ganun talaga, mauna mag wear sa harap kase mas mabigat talaga andun, nag tire rotation ako 20k PMS, ok naman sha.

tire rotation mo lang ulit bro. :D

Sa pangit ng road conditions, 38 psi would be too much. Nag benchmark ako dati...pa iba ibang psi. monumento-makati via A. Bonifacio-Nagtahan-Osmena-Buendia...i stuck with 34psi sa harap and 36psi sa likod. magaan ang steering wheel pag 38 psi pero pagnadaan ka sa lubak maaawa ka sa innova mo. 34psi for me is the best compromise.

kung long trip...as in monumento to ilocos...i use 33psi front and 36 psi back...night trip driving ito and jam packed ang car ko with roof rack pa.

bottomline for me: 34psi, 36psi combination

Iyon nga lang, in comparison with the rear tyres, relatively accelerated siya....

As in, maganda pa ang rear tyres ko,- looking like brand new tyres pa rin. Pero, when you look at the front tyres,- alam mong gamit na sila....

I have not rotated the tyres.... 4.5 year old Innova with 17.5KKm mileage...

Not really when you look at it,- pero it becomes more pronounced on closer inspection....

Bro yung sakin 33 sa front and 35 sa rear. mostly kasi full pack sakay. medyo matagtag nga kung 38 na. sakin mas makapal front ko kesa sa rear. i do tire rotation every 10k. kala ko even lang yung thread wear nila pero nung sinukat ko gamit ang 1 peso coin dun ko nakita na mas mabilis mapudpud yung rear ko. BTW 30k on my odo when i do my last tire rotation and yung gingawa ko is based on owners manual.. yung sa casa kasi gingawa nila yung front nililipat lang sa rear.

i tire rotate mo na bro para pumantay dun sa likod. tapos observe mo hehe.
