Anyone experience or encountered the stock car alarm suddenly triggers? Happened to me last night... looks like a false alarm.

No mine is stock G variant '08 model. Yes when you open the door the alarm will sound. But just last night it suddenly alarms with no reason it is inside our garage and I did check no force entry or cats suddenly fell down in the car whatsoever.

If your remote has a panic button, it could've been accidentally activated.

It happens to me sometimes.... pocket-dial, so to speak.

The remote is just on my desk and no way it could be triggered and from its location it is a bit far away with walls so it could not trigger it either so I was thinking probably due to aging that my car alarm suddenly had false alarm.

Possible yung door switch either corroded or nabasa. Happened to me before, on a different toyota. Turns out door switch pala.

I have to check is it the black rubber like material located in the door?

Might be faulty door sensor I'll try to observe stock alarm afaik only triggers when door opens it does not trigger due to noise.
