i installed it for almost a year now. my car is usually parked under the sun everyday. no signs of adhesive removal but like i've said, i used the 3m automotive double adhesive tape.

here's a few more tips:
- don't be a scrooge when applying the adhesive tape. i know the 3m tape is quite expensive but it would save you a lot of time, effort and money in the long run if you're generous in applying the tape.
- after every car wash, remember to blow dry the bumper guard. water usually accumulates inside. otherwise, it will leave a watermark that may be difficult to remove later.
- when waxing the car, carefully avoid putting wax on the bumper guard. it's rough surface traps the wax and very difficult to remove. you'll end up with a shiny bumper and a black bumper guard with white smudges. you can use a toothbrush to remove the wax just in case.
- when attaching the bumper guard, wipe the bumper with alcohol first, just to make sure that there is no wax residue.

thank you for the great information, sir. I'll ask the service personnel in Toyota if the stock double adhesive tape from the rear bumper step guard is made of 3M. Can I myself install it or do I need expertise in installing this accessories?

I assume "a new vehicle" is another vehicle, but not brand new.

Just for the sake of argument,- why did he buy it in the first place?

There must be something that he does not like in the unit. A defect or a feature or something that he just discovered and was not aware of when he bought the unit.

Probe deeper bro, before you decide on it.

Sir, ako naman nagpakabit bosch na air horn pero di ko pinatanggal stock. Pinalagyan ko lang switch, pag di pasaway stock gamit ko pero pag pasaway switch ako sa air horn..

hingi lang po sana ako ng tip. napansin ko merong very slow leak yung right rear tire ko. cguro mga 5 psi every week. kapag nagpapahangin kasi ako sabay lahat ng tires kaya napuna ko meron talagang mahina na leak. kaya ba nila madetect to sa ordinary na vulcanizing shops? ang plano ko kasi gamitin na lang yung spare as replacement. nsa 2.5k palang ODO ko.

kaya naman. dadagdagan ng hangin tapos ilulubog ang tire sa tubig hanggang makita ang slow leak. possible na sa valve mismo ang leak.

you'll just have to bring it to the ordinary vulcanizing shop. because there isn't any extraordinary vulcanizing shop hereabouts. heh heh.
but seriously! any vulcanizing shop worthy of its water bath can do it! there's no secret to it! only a sharp pair of eyes and good lighting.but i do look for one with mechanized tire removal instruments.

mukha bang puti sa pic bro? bronze mica metallic G yung sa akin eh. iniisip ko nga kung ipapatira ko na or di pa muna. kitang kita yung sa bumper ko eh, labas yung itim, tanggal paint.

tinry ko i touch up paint kanina, panget kinakalabasan kaya bunubura ko din agad, try ko mag buy ng brush na bago, baka sa brush ko lang.

di ba masyado halata talaga bro sa tingin mo?

Just got my plate released yesterday. Unit acquired dec. 2012 & date of registration is feb. 2012. My plate is TIP-###. Im just curious why is it TIP when i see a lot of TVI's or TZE's on the road already. I was expecting pa naman that my plate would start na after the series "T".

How about 2007 D-4D E? A friend is selling to me at 650K. 50T KM. Kasama alien alarm, backup sensor, spare tire lock, floor mats, leather seat cover, magic tint, tapos yung carpet may plastic cover pa, at may spoiler na din. Ok na ba yun? So, far ok pa yung unit, lady-owner at casa maintained. FC daw ay 10.3KM/L. Na-test drive ko, positive naman, walang kalampag, kabig, lakas pa ng hataw. Ang maganda pa dito ay may freebie pa na 2nd hand Canon Ixus960IS p&s compact camera. Pls. advise. Pang "coding" ko lang.

TALK about rims, nag gutter ako dati sa may macapagl blvd, gasgas yung rim ko, as in ugly gasgas, san ba pwede i repair ito? tnx

Sharing photos of the E variant 2012 facelifted innova I took last wednesday at toyota balintawak when I got my OR/CR.

Mukhang nawala ang VVT-i/D4-D badge sa side. The most moticeable change from the outside is the upside down "frowning" air-dam (if that's what its called) at the front and the more rectangular shaped headlamps.
