hi guys, may naka experience na ba dito na pag binuksan nila yung aircon sa likod ng innova ay maingay? parang buzzing sound.. ano kaya ang problem sa aircon pag ganon?

Hinipo ko po.. pero di ko inamoy..

Di po banda sa passenger side.. sa driver side po,
pag open mo ng hood ung bakal na nakaconnect sa steering wheel sa loob. Ung malapit sa OIL filter. Hinala ko baka pag change oil sa casa pag palit nila ng OIL FILTER baka nalagyan ng oil ung bakal (cross joint or strainght joint)??? nagtataka ako saan galing ung oil.. sana ma gets mo ung ibig kung sabihin.. medyo wala pa tayo alam sa parts eh..

since dual aircon ang innova natin may a/c unit at blower yung rear part nya, located sa likod ng rear right wheel well, sa tingin ko normal lang yung sound , in my case humming sound sya na di ganon kalakas. kung buzzing na sound baka madumi na yung blower mo sa likod. have it checked by a reputable a/c technician.

Di naman ganun ka traffic, paano mo measure ang FC mo, automatic fulltank pop tapus next full tank, km/liters diba?

Tama yung measurement scheme mo, ganyan din ako.

Maitim ba exhaust gas mo? It might be a fuel system problem. Have you asked a Toyota Service station to diagnose this seeming problem? You can also refer to shops like that of Dieseldude's which specializes in Diesel Engines. He started the thread "Diesel Fuel Injection System Help Desk."
Check that thread and request for his shop details.

Thanks bro. Actually, bibilhin ko pa lang yung innova (second hand). overall ok naman yung unit, ayun lang napansin ko. Mejo maingay kasi yung blower, mas lumalakas yung ingay pag mas pag sinwitch ko ng mas malakas. Is this something na pwede maging major na problem? or kelangan lang ipacheck?

If it was a vibrating sound, try to see the ceiling air ducts (4 for the rear) and visually check the air louvers for loose snaps. Minsan kasi pag nililinis yung air ducts nami-misaligned yung louver pins.

Also check the rear recirculate vent, located on the side of 3rd row passenger side seat. Check the vent if it was blocked with some foreign thing.

Note: Medyo maugong talaga ang blower ng Innova especially on full throttle fan.

Observe mo na lang if persistent yung wet part or what you can do is wash the suspected leaky part with soap/detergent, then rinse and let dry, if it reoccurs then you'll have a problem and you'll need to have it check at your dealer again.

Visual check lang. If your shocks are wet or greasy looking then you have a leaky shocks. Kasama sa 3 years warranty ang shocks.

Sa rear shocks very easy to spot a leaky shocks, but for the front you'll need to full steer the wheel on one side to peek at the front shocks.

In my case, I found out my front leaky shocks during weekend DIY under washing. My first leaky front driver side was after 1.5 year and the 2nd front passenger side was on 2nd year, both are claimed under warranty replacements.

Mine is Thermalite (silver). Biased ako sa bling-bling (chrome). Pero ok din ang black inner with chrome lips.

Sa max fan setting maugong din ang Innova ko, It sounds like air being forced through the vents, one step lower nawawala na ang ugong. Got mine brand new and it was always this way, anyways I only use the max setting for 10 mins after parking my innova exposed sa sun. After that ang usual fan setting ko ay 1 and 2 clicks naman ang cool. I always turn on the rear blower sa #2 setting.

IMO kung nabuksan na ang AC mo sa likod its probably the alignment of the ducts and vents. Kung virgin pa ang setup imposible na magkaroon ng buzzing sound unless nalubog sa baha ang innova.

The owner told me that he already replaced the aircon blower sa likod, wala na daw ingay. ano kaya ibiga sabihin nito? Should i be worried about buying the innova?

When in doubt don't buy it. Try to look for some more units and compare, patience will lead you to a right decision. There are more units for sale out there.
