Depende sa ipapagawa mo, if engine and major parts I suggest go for casa repairs pa rin to avoid warranty claim problems. 3 years lang naman na nakatali ka sa casa.

Mine is no longer under warranty but I still buy my Toyota parts and Oils/fluids at the dealer and just have my suking gas station do the service.

Nagpamahal sa service mo ay yung FS oil and de-carbonizing.

Yung number 1 sa list na "Inspected valve clearance..." I really find it very odd sa mga dealers that they insert this on the services done when in fact they really don't do it. To inspect the valve clearance, they would need to open up the cylinder head valve cover and replace cylinder head gasket. They would need to remove a lot of bolts, nuts and the air filter tube going to the throttle neck.

The fact that they did not perform the "Inspected front and rear suspension" which they did no see the leaky rear shocks and it is really visible and would be very hard to missed out. You can be sure that most of those listed "Inspected" are not done.

* 20Kms PMS they should have recommend a replacement of air filter element which they did not. ( Standard for every 20Kms PMS ).

What you can do is write a complaint letter to Otis CRO (Customer Ralation Officer) and point out all what you see is not right on the billing statements and undone listed services. I already did this on another Toyota dealer and had a sit down meeting with service department and after a few weeks they have reorganize their service department and implemented service enhancements which I felt better on my succeeding PMS and more to this it has benefited also other customers.

I had my 30K PMS today. Aside from the usual PMS I had the cabin filter checked and replaced after 2 years. Cost is Peso 600.00. Filter is dirty. I asked service provider if it is ok to just clean the filter instead of replacing, sabi sa akin lalaki lang daw ang butas ng filter pag pinagpag at hindi lahat ng particles ay maaalis. anyways, 600 pesos for 2 years use is fair.

Also, I complained about the "hesitation" I experienced when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear after I was caught in traffic for 2 hours. I thought it has something to do with the fuel system, probably the pump. Sabi ng service provider this is "normal" for manual transmissions. Ang dahilan daw ng hesitation ay ang delayed release ng clutch dahil umiinit daw sa heavy traffic. I don't know if this is true...any comment mga bro.

Guys, Ask ko lang kung yun stock tires manufacture date dapat ba same year din sya ng car manufacture date? I plan to buy a 2nd hand innova 2007 claiming with low mileage but when I check the stock tires manufacture date it stated 2008. Is there's something messy here? Thanks

i have a inquiry po regarding sa mga pyesa ng innova ,
mine is 2006 innova j vvti
iam here in middle east and ask ko lang kasi balak ko bumili dito ng mga parts (original) toyota,like brake shoe,spark plug,oil filter,at kung anu pa ang mga pwde yung irekomend kung bilhin dito para istock ko and tanung ko lang if pwde kaya ipakabit sa casa yung fuel filter na bibilhin ko dito or ok lang ba kaya kung sa suking talyer ipa install ang fuel filter kasi compare to the price sa atin eh dito ay mas mura and 100%orig. advance thanks po sa mga magrereply.

[SIZE=2]good pm mga ka-innova. owner of 2010 innova e vvti. share ko lang experience sa toyota manila bay last saturday (29 may 2010) at para ma-warn na din ang tsikoter readers. i availed the free 5K pms (sayang naman kasi) though my odo is only 3233km but it is already in its 4th month. i used synthetic oil during 1K pms thats why my supposed sched is on the 10K.[/SIZE] binigyan ako ng quotation ng service advisor (paolo maramag) amounting to 1,500 including therein are grease, brake cleaner, at fuel additives ek ek. kaso sinulat lang nya ito ng ballpen sa service billing. nagulat ako kasi i expect na wala dapat bayaran kasi nga free ang labor sa inspections. as i learned from this forum, maraming ganung exorbitant fees, outright tinanggihan ko ung fuel additives kasi nga i believe na hindi kailangan ito. sabi ko ilagay na lang ang mga bagay na kailangan talaga. samakatuwid naging 700 nalang dapat kong bayaran (brake cleaner and grease). matapos ang 2hrs 30 mins nailabas na din ang unit kaya bumalik ako kay Paolo Maramag para kunin na ang docs at mabayaran. nagulat ako nung binigay na sa akin ang service bill (computerized printout) naging 500.64 nalang (amalie brake cleaner 355.04, hand gloves 15.68, misc 129.92). kakapagtaka naman talaga tapos naging extraordinary courteous na sya. binibigyan ko ng tip kaso ayaw talaga kunin. hmm.. kaya nung na-clear na sa guard ang papers umalis na ko. hanggang ngayon pinagtatakahan ko pa rin bakit 1,500 agad ang gustong icharge sa supposed to be ba free 5K check ko. kaya maraming salamat sa forum na to marami kayong na-eeducate tulad ko.
