[SIZE=2]good pm mga ka-innova. owner of 2010 innova e vvti. share ko lang experience sa toyota manila bay last saturday (29 may 2010) at para ma-warn na din ang tsikoter readers. i availed the free 5K pms (sayang naman kasi) though my odo is only 3233km but it is already in its 4th month. i used synthetic oil during 1K pms thats why my supposed sched is on the 10K.[/SIZE] binigyan ako ng quotation ng service advisor (paolo maramag) amounting to 1,500 including therein are grease, brake cleaner, at fuel additives ek ek. kaso sinulat lang nya ito ng ballpen sa service billing. nagulat ako kasi i expect na wala dapat bayaran kasi nga free ang labor sa inspections. as i learned from this forum, maraming ganung exorbitant fees, outright tinanggihan ko ung fuel additives kasi nga i believe na hindi kailangan ito. sabi ko ilagay na lang ang mga bagay na kailangan talaga. samakatuwid naging 700 nalang dapat kong bayaran (brake cleaner and grease). matapos ang 2hrs 30 mins nailabas na din ang unit kaya bumalik ako kay Paolo Maramag para kunin na ang docs at mabayaran. nagulat ako nung binigay na sa akin ang service bill (computerized printout) naging 500.64 nalang (amalie brake cleaner 355.04, hand gloves 15.68, misc 129.92). kakapagtaka naman talaga tapos naging extraordinary courteous na sya. binibigyan ko ng tip kaso ayaw talaga kunin. hmm.. kaya nung na-clear na sa guard ang papers umalis na ko. hanggang ngayon pinagtatakahan ko pa rin bakit 1,500 agad ang gustong icharge sa supposed to be ba free 5K check ko. kaya maraming salamat sa forum na to marami kayong na-eeducate tulad ko.

Sir, estimate lang naman yung P1,500 (usual charges for 5Kms PMS for VVTi) since di pa naman niya siguro nakita previous service record ng car mo. Okay yan si Paolo, straight forward kung makipag-usap. Di po talaga tumatanggap ng tip or any monetary ang mga crew ng TMBC, kahit po mechanics di sila tumatanggap ng tip. Maganda po ang work ethics nila dahil magaling yung service manager (Eli Lustania) in handling the crew. Actually lahat ng SA ng TMBC madaling kausap, ang paborito ko dyan si Jovie.

mga boss, ano po ba maganda pantanggal ng dumi sa ceiling ng innova? nadumihan kase ng mga kids ko... ( innova j diesel owner )

Soapy wet towel lang ang pinang-lilinis ko. (Dish washing liquid)

Just follow up with a wet&dry vacuum cleaner para di mag-mapa. If you don't have a vacuum cleaner puede ring soapy wet towel lang pero kailangan lang ng tiyaga sa pagkuskos ng paulit-ulit,....kuskos ....laba ng towel....kuskos....laba ng towel until na mawala yung dumi sa ceiling. Let dry then tignan kung may smudges (mapa), just repeat the process until smudges are gone.

just done a little back reading... re.the 20km pms at otis ....

Guess what??? I just did my 20kmpms today at otis c/o mr.rico himself, around 11k+++ cost

FS oil, decarbonize, engine wash , clean air con filter and I requested change of fuel filter element though mr.rico advised *40km is the recommended ...

well, after reading the post, got me thinking if they changed my fuel filter and cleaned the cabin filter ... got hungry and miss the change oil, witness the brake cleaning and de carbonizing... I also asked them instinctively to check for leaky shocks... that explains the funny expressions on their faces,now that I have read the post here...hehehe... mr. rico even asked if I witnessed everything at the pms area, when i was at the cashier...

Mine's a d4d E A/T, don't know if its the new filters or decarbonizing but my diesel engine sounds good and response was like when I got out of the casa... will observe it for the next few days... response and mileage has been less satisfactory lately...hope it improves... so we can recommend decarbofor diesels...

meron bang mabibiling owner's manual for the innova 2007 J? nawawala daw kasi yung owner's manual eh.

hello po mga sir my father just bought a second hand 2007 innova G na matic gas ho sya na 2.0 and nagtataka ho ako, kung meron syang ABS or wala kasi according dun sa manual meron dapat iilaw na ABS dun sa dashboard eh wala naman po, and as far i know mga innova na G eh may ABS nababasa ko di2 sa forums.. pahelp naman po tnx

ABS came standard on 2009 E,G and V variants. dont know lang kung ati J may ABS din. AFAIK 2008 pababa, wala abs at 1 lang airbag nya.

hi tsikoteers! just new to this forum. galing naman nitong thread na to all about toyota innova andito . My Toyota Innova is G D4D last August 09 ko sya nakuha. Mga innova gurus medyo madami yung mga tanong ko e.

1. Na experience nyo na ba sa aircon yung pag on mo ang baho, maasim na amoy parang may natapong suka ilang beses ko na kase na experience yon e. Paano po ba ang maintenance ng Aircon?
2. Missed my 1500 PMS. Using Fully synthetic. im planning to bring the car at around 1900. ok lang ba yun?
3. Ano pong magandang brand at klaseng HID ang maganda sa innova? At saan po makakabili. Void ba warranty nun pag nagpalagay ako sa labas?
Kase plano ko ding palitan ung busina e.
4. Mas maganda ba talaga sa OTIS kase dinadala ko yung sa akin sa SHAW iniiwanan ko lang tapos binabalikan ko na lang bago sila magsara lapit kase sa office namin kaya don ko dinadala tsaka don din namin binili.

Just always run your Front & Rear AC in tandem, even if you are alone. Yung rear kahit sa # 1 fan lang basta palaging naka-on.

i believe that putting dvd player shall have no effect on the fuel consumption because it concerns only the use of electricity from the battery. the additional load is only on the car battery. unless, if you want to watch movie while the car is parked, then you are required to keep the engine running, thus adds fuel consumption.

Walang ABS ang 2007 G model, only the V model has.

It should have since the unit you got was already for 2008 model. Last quarter 2007 to first quarter 2008 is the period where ABS is already standard to E,G,V. It was the same period the E gas variant was introduced.

Ah, okay. I was actually wondering myself if I have the 08 model already. Thank you for the confirmation.
