If you're planning to buy a new Innova (G variant or up), you can get this for free. Just press the sales agent to throw it in with the car.

I have a friend who got his free at Toyota Shaw and mine just this March at Toyota Pasong Tamo Ext. And that's on top of the cash discount.

Mam liv, don't you have the privilege to do it as mod? or underprivileged ka. I think it's better to merge it na lang to avoid confusion and thus our fellow innovamates can keep track on what's going on with our beloved rides. With similar threads separated, sometimes you have to post the same query on both threads, and it's a bit inconvenient . We can pm admin kung wala naman objection ang majority.

Just to be safe, you can do the "standard" service list of most cars before: the fuel and air filters are changed every 20,000kms while fluids like the gear oil, clutch fluid and diff oil should be changed every 40,000kms at the most. Valve tappets are usually adjusted at 40,000kms intervals at the most as well On change oil, every 5,000kms and clean the air filter while your at it (especially if yours is a diesel). The Innova manual doesnt specify the need to change the fuel filter regularly but what i do is to change my fuel filter element every 20,000kms (as its cheap actually... cheaper then the OEM Oil filter). Brakes should be cleaned every 10,000kms as well.

Just today i had to buy a new air cleaner and in Banawe i was able to get an OEM filter for P970.00 (vs. the 1,300 quoted to me at the parts counter of Toyota Q. Ave).

I usually have my regular service done by myt suking tindahans near our place in Q.C. or in Banawe (Wheelers Suspension Haus). For my valve clearance checkings and change fluids when i hit 40K i'll probably have it done at Autotechnika.

Just got our new Innova G Dsl M/T, metallic beige. Pero pansin ni misis (i am yet to personally see and drive it when i came home being an OFW) na medyo maingay o matunog daw makina at matagtag.

On the first page of this forum, I read na ma-aayos lang daw tunog ng makina after the first PMS kasi meron daw i-aadjust pa sa casa.. am i right?

Medyo nabababaan ako sa innova kaya balak ko palitan ang rim nito ng 17" at medyo malaking gulong. Any advice on the specs of the complete set of this type of innova tire na 17" ang rim would be highly appreciated. Gusto ko kasi sa Innova ay tumaas ng konti at mag-ala Land Cruiser or Fortuner na ang dating na pag kinabitan na ng stepboard ay hindi masyadong mababa tingnan

    Thank you very much

IMO, you won't be able to do much with regard to the size of the tires if you hope of attaining a lift and size such as the Fortuner given the following:
    - limited size of the wheel wells
    - limited suspension travel

Also, if you do that then you can affect the ride quality and the stability of the vehicle... and not to mention, void your warranty. Isuzu tried to get the SUV look with their Crosswind but what they got was a vehicle with a harsh ride, slow acceleration, and poor handling dynamics/stability. If a Fortuner height is a must then it would be better to trade-up for a Fortuner.

On the ride quality, check first your tire pressure. I've observed a noticeable difference in ride quality between running on 32psi and 34psi on our Innova (with stock tires). Most people probably ride on 30psi (cold), have your wife check it out.

On the matunog ang makina thing, is this the first time for your family to own a diesel, specifically a CRDi or direct injection diesel? If so then baka sa sanayan lang yan as these are more prone to vibration and noise compared to the old, pre-chambered diesels.

Overall, see first the car for yourself when you get back home before doing anything.

Salamat!!!

we got same variant 'g' dsl m/t...mine is upgrade to 235X18X50 from stock 205X15X65,outside dia is 692.2 from stock 647.5 tumaas sya ng at least 22mm so far ok naman walang sayad but if you enlarge the outside dia more than that baka sumayad na ...about the engine noise ok naman for a diesel i suggest pagtapos mo ng 5T pms change your engine oil to fully synthetic for a more smooth and less engine noise...at full stop iba ng tunog ng engine pag nakatapak sa clutch at ng hindi nakatapak sa clutch medyo maingay pag tapak ang clutch...

Any idea whether Toyota Motors Phils has resolved the hard starting and choking problem with the 2.5 D4D Diesel engine? We are planning sana to buy an MPV and the Innova E with the 2.5 D4D Diesel Engine is our first choice. However with this hard starting and choking problem, we are reconsidering our first choice. Na solve na kaya ng Toyota or hindi pa? When we ask the sales agent about the hard start and choking problem of the 2.5 D4d Diesel Engine, wala naman daw may nagrereklamo regarding hard starting and choking. Ang dami nga raw nakapila for Innova units wint the D4D engine. Ano kaya talaga ang totoo dito? Meron bang problema and 2.5 D4D diesel engine ng Toyota or wala? If meron ngang problema before, naayos na kaya ito ng Toyota? Thanks

Is this something that I should worry about?

Absolutely nothing to worry about sir, medyo matigas po talaga ang shifter ng innova, sanayan lang..

IMO, 17" would be the best choice so as not to compromise much of the ride quality, FC... changed my stock rims/tires to 215/55/17... total amount is 45K but i managed to trade in my stock kaya cash-out ko lang is 38K... hope this helps
