mga guys paki lagay nalang po dun sa voting list ung mga boboto nyo para malaman natin kung kay proxie na ba talaga ung kukunin natin kasi baka may mag post pa pu ng stickers... bka po mga 2 wiks before the eb kunin ung main sticker natin para naman ung ibang mag popost ng stickers eh maka pag post pa... okei ba guys....hehehhehe

pwede join? Vote din ako kay proxies ganda design kaya lang may suggestion ako, dapat yung color ng font white kasi pag black di makita dahil dark tint ang color ng windshield para umangat. suggestion lang po.

umm sir merun na po mga kulay yan.. sample lan gpu ung color na un..check nyu nalang pu sa ibang messages nandun pu ung kulay nya i think its red....

Just want to share the sub I had installed in my Innova G.

Sub is JL Audio 10 W3V3, fiberglass custom enclosure by Mickeys. I wanted a sub with minimal footprint so I still have trunk space and my third row seats won't be sacrificed. Speakers were replaced with Focals, but in their stock locations, head unit changed to Pioneer HU with USB, amps from my old setup.

Mickey charged me P10K for the custom fiberglass box. Standard sub box (MDF) is P3500. They make initial measurements and the box was ready after around a week.

it seems that the hot topic now is the sticker. i hope someone can give me advise on -

1. sa mga nagpakabit na ng color keyed (painted same color as the body of innova, instead of the black plastic) side molding on their innova J, meron ba nagiging problema?

2. i had a shop in marikina (not toyota) install it on my white innova. pero it seems that despite that we used a 3m double sided tape, meron mga hindi tumatagal ang dikit on the ends. it seems its caused by the natural tendency of the straight molding to straighten. Before we installed it, they cleaned the portion (with soap). Also, we installed it on a hot afternoon to make sure sana that the tape will do its purpose. the 3M tape is color gray with a red strip to cover the sticky side. is this only happening to me? (that the sticker doesnt last to stick the side molding flat to the body as in an innova G)

3. also, I have noticed just a few minutes ago that - the white paint on the side molding chips off. natanggal ang pintura sa sides. Before I had this installed in this shop, I was informed by a Toyota dealer that they also only paint the black side molding to make it 'color keyed'. again, is this only happening to me? (that the paint chips off)

Please advise. TIA.

BTW, i have been a fan of these forum for 3 months now. because of your discussions, comments and suggestions to other members, i was persuaded to buy my innova last July 14,2007 (instead of an Avanza, which i initially was intending to buy). For that, THANK YOU ALL.

i had mine installed sa casa and no problem whatsoever. baka manipis masyado pagkakapintura kaya nag chip off. BTW, good choice on the Innova.

Those side moldings should be curved already according to the surface where it should be sticked, otherwise it will flex back to its original form and the double adhesive will not ever hold it still. If the one installed in your car was a straingth liner then no amount of strong tape can hold that one specially on curved surfaces.

Notice those Toyota Emblems and the VVTI or D4d emblem on your fenders, they are curved even if you buy them separately they are already curved.

i guess it's pretty obvious that the hands down winner on the sticker is proxies'. pa print na ba natin guys? baka po meron pa sa inyong me alam kung san mas ok magpa print ng sticker.

yun yata yung napagtanungan ko eh... Uyco Decals... 80 pesos sabi sakin... how much kaya abutin nito ( proxies' )? clarify ko lang ke proxies yung size, then siguro pwede na tayo paprint.

Siguro we can ask for a lower price lasi madami naman papa-print natin. Try ko dito sa Makati.

thanks for your inputs. i went back to the shop kanina. told them that manipis yung paint and the molding should be curved to the shape of the car. (although ofcourse, they are refuting these)

we removed it kanina and they said they will fix things free of charge. we will reinstall again this wkend or later next wk. atleast they have good customer service / warranty.
