Anyone here experience na ayaw na gumana CDR disc sa Fujitsu HU ng Innova??? mine is like that now... Nag complain ako sa Otis , sabi sakin na ala daw sila magagawa kasi ang pang-test nila ay ORIG AUDIO CD siempre gumana naman, ang problem only is using CDR disc lang naman.... anu ba maganda gawin?? Balak ko papirmahin sila na they wont honor the warranty sana by next week and update ko kayo kung anu gawin nila..... :D
WBR,
It happened to me when i purchased innova last April 2005..after about 2-1/2 months while playing cd biglang namamatay!! Need to reset program kc wala lahat pag tigil ng CD player. Report ko agad sa Toyota Dagupan, chk nila baka wirings lang. Try ulit after mga three weeks ganoon ulit!! It played 6 songs then stopped. I stopped using cdr baka ayaw..pero same thing pag orig CD!! Second time, service center dismantled my fujitsu player, chk again all wirings/connection and said pag dati pa rin apply na lang ang warranty.
At first i doubt wiring is not the problem...they asked na baka natagtag sa rough road, so finally sent to manila for check up, wala daw makita pero pinaltan naman. As of now my fujitsu played better kahit na CDR.
Try using quality, brand CDR like Taiyo Yuden. Taiyo's price is a bit steeper than the generic P1-3 CDRs? (what is the price of CDRs nowadays?).Originally Posted by Innova_Boy
all CDR i use is not working but i show to them that its working with my nextbase tablet dvd player, eh nag-play naman, wala masagot sakin yung warranty officer kundi yun lang daw ORIG AUDIO CD nila ang basis ng test, if nag-play no problem daw but if not they will warranty my HU... ang labo noh??? B***SH** talaga Otis...
Around 2 months ago eh nagplay naman yung mga CDR disc na gawa ko but now wont play on my Fujitsu HU...

Innova Boy,
OK bang mag change ng bigger wheels like concept one?
Maybe you can try cleaning your cd lens.Originally Posted by Innova_Boy
Me I always rely on my radio while driving. Same thing happened to me so I replaced mine with a Pioneer WMA MP3 radio, problem solved!
innovaboy, your dealer should replace the HU. AFAIK, may 3 yrs warranty ang mga HU.Originally Posted by Innova_Boy
In fairness to TMP, only the low grade cdr are not working, mine i use rewritable cd its a bit expensive than cdr but it work great with the HU just like the orignal cd's. TMP are obliged to replace HU if orginal cd's are not playable.Originally Posted by july23
I'll go back again this week to Otis.... I'll look first for their Innova units at stock room and request to play my CDR disc in their new Innova units, Pag nag-play ang CDR disc ko ewan ko lang kung anu pa palusot nila ngayun....

first advise talaga nung agent ko with its stereo was not to use non-orig CDr bec of the non-standard CD "label coat" used by some mass-producing manufacturers at hirap basahin ng laser; worst case di pa ma-eject at kailiangan pa daw sa dalhin sa planta (???) Pwede gumamit ng CDr basta maganda yari ng "label coating".
Ang sa akin lang talaga eh lo-tek ang napili nilang fujitsu brand, wala ring auxilliary I/O. BTW, newbie ako sa forum na 'to and i just got my innova J, manual gas last Jan 26, '06. Marami pa po akong katanungan ukol sa Innova, pero nxt ko na i-post
Im sure it'll play, since we have the same problem, all my pre burn cdr's way back april (which cost around 15 to 25 pesos) doesnt play anymore in my HU right now, when i switch to cdrw (sony, tdk, ricoh) its fine. anyway i got this thread on cdr issue just for info.Originally Posted by Innova_Boy
Low CD-R media prices, unknown CD-R vendors, conflicting claims by these vendors, then there are the green / gold / blue dye's and gold / silver metallizations. All this information is very confusing to the CD-R buyer. Users just want quality CD-R's for a low price but usually this does not mix...
There are a lot of these low budget CD-R's on sale everywhere but no-one can really tell what the quality of these CD-R's is and will be the impact of ageing is on the CD-R's. Some people think that CD-Recordable media will last as long as any normal CD but this is not true!
In early 1999 a few computer magazines in Europe featured a very interesting article on the quality of CD-R's. In this article a total of 170 CD-R's (17 brands, 10 per brand) were subjected to a test and the results varied a lot.
Some CD-R manufacturers claim that they have quality CD-R media just by testing the compatibility with all kind of CD-Writers. Let's be clear: Compatibility does not equal Quality!
so again, i may ask you to bear me, just go for the good ones, though again life of cdr's varies even if its high quality.
As analogy, you can also compare this to original dvd players i.e sony, pioneer, etc. against second generation players like nextbase, rainbow, then try to buy pirated dvd's (recorded on low grade dvd r) and play it on sony or pioneer, the result may be similar to our problem. sony will tell you, just buy orignal dvd since pirated are not trustworhty (anyway what the heck, i still bought pirated dvd 's since i have a next base dvd player too!) cheer!

Boss,
got my unit last Jan 26, 2006, J series, M/T. extreme loaded kmi last trip namin from tarlac to airport. 5 adults (inc driver), 2 kids and around 120 kg na baggage. bumaba ang rear spring but may clear allowance pa from mudguard to wheels. ok pa rin response sa mga humps.
FYI, my mileage is now 20,500. Had the 20k PMS and paid P5,700, whew! So far, no problem encountered yet (J-gas).
