I highly recommend the D4d. It can pull the Innova effortlessy even with full load. Plus it can get decent fuel consumption figures. Diesel is cheap, but its a lil pricier to maintain. In my opinion is is really worth it. Don't worry about the D4d problems because Toyota has already resolved it with the current models. I can say that it is a perfect engine now. You can never go wrong with it

This is the often the dilemna of car buyers expecially if you have gas or diesel option. Fuel efficiency and price of fuel are common factors on choosing between those two. I say go and choose the better engine.

November 7th, 2012 07:45 PM #59Okay, mas mahal ba yang maintenance na yan sa Gas variant on the same casa? Also, if I will follow the schedule religiously maiiwasan naman yung overhaul, right? Sa gas kasi ganun din kung hindi i-maintain ng maayos ma-overhaul in the end.

Technically, Hindi maiiwasan ang overhaul. Eventually ma wo-worn out din ang parts ng engine. kahit pa casa maintained ang sasakyan meron paring wear and tear na nangyayari. ma pro-prolong lang ang life ng sasakyan particularly the engine pag regular ang preventive maintenance.
